I would go for February. Crowds will be heavier in April with Easter and Spring Break. You'll be going just before the Spring Break rush and it will probably be less crowded.

We had the SAME thing happen! I didn't understand it. The crowd is not that bad to walk out in, and most missed Sorcerer Mickey popping up, which is the BEST part of the show! Couldn't believe after all that waiting to get in that people would walk out and miss the end... :eek:

I can't help you with the crowd levels, sorry. As for the Epcot boats I've never heard of them letting the guests on the lake during the fireworks; I think that Cast Members jet around out there but I really don't think that option is offered to everyone. BUT I could be wrong. As for Wishes...

I can't help you on the times; I can't remember. But I think what basically happens is that everyone who wants to participate in the Meet and Greet gathers in the courtyard and waits for Rapunzel and Flynn. They come out, do some dancing and interactions with everyone, and then the castmembers...

True. The ride vehicle stops in the Great Movie Ride, and then the Wicked Witch of the West from Wizard of Oz comes up and "talks" to your driver. Ride stop and interaction. If your story is true, that's probably what was being talked about. :shrug:

Agreed! WAAAAAY too much emphasis on the boring globe. I miss the country callouts and all the cool fireworks. Get rid of the globe that takes up half the show with images no one can really see, and put back in cool laser affects and real fireworks.

I don't think there is a too young, but I think that you should make sure they know what they are experiencing. If your child doesn't know any princesses or Mickey Mouse, then the place won't have the same meaning as if they were looking forward to "Meeting Mickey". I think they should be old...

While I would ALWAYS support trying a ride before you decide you hate it (especially Big Thunder and Splash, because they are relatively tame), your wife should have no trouble using chicken doors on those rides. Just make sure that she decides that she doesn't want to ride BEFORE you enter...
