Why the huge affection for Mr Toad?

I LOVED Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. One of my favorite rides at Magic Kingdom (20,000 Leagues Under the Sea was my favorite.) I have been going to Disney every year since I was a child, I loved going on the Toad. It was cool running into things, driving through the pub, mansion, barn, almost...

    The Contemporary

My sister and I stayed at the Contemporary for the first time last May. It was great! We had to add an extra night on to our orginal reservation, because we didn't want to leave. We stayed in the Tower on the Magic Kingdom side. We were on the sixth floor, right above the Monorail. It...

    Please help!

Welcome! Welcome! I am a experienced Disney Traveler. I have a annual pass and I go about every other month. If you can , I would go to Epcot. It is my favorite park. Test Track is a very cool ride. Everybody can do it. Mission: Space can be a little intense for some people, and the...

    Carribean Beach!

Caribbean Beach Resort is my favorite resort, next to Wilderness Lodge. Yes, Caribbean Beach has the biggest rooms compared to the rest of the moderate resorts at Disney. It is also the first moderate resort on property. Rooms in the past had mini-bars, but they removed them about 5-6...

Fess up...what are some of your traditions in planning?

I check on different rates for the Hotels (different codes like ABC.) I want to go to Disney, but don't want to spend too much money. I also check for any e-ride nights, but they don't do them anymore. I also don't sleep the night before, too excited!:animwink: :animwink:

    Wilderness Lodge

Hidden Bear at Wilderness Lodge. When you go to the Wild Lodge on the ferry from MK, or on the boardwalk by the pool and the bar, you can see the hidden bear in Wild Lodge. (It is a facial profile of a bear.) You MUST do this at night to see the bear. When you are on the ferry, or on...

    Wilderness Lodge

LOVE the Wild Lodge! I love the atmosphere and the music. Pool is cool too. One thing I have wrong about the Wild Lodge is the transportation to and from Magic Kingdom. The ferry can be unreliable at times. I have been stuck at Magic Kingdom for an hour waiting for a ferry. Or you can...

    Character Restaurants .... ?

My favorite Character Dinings My 2 favorite character dinings are: 1. Garden Grill at Epcot. It is located in The Land. It is a circular, slow moving restaurant that shows you different scenes from the Living With the Land Ride below the restaurant. (Don't worry, it moves about .5 mph)...

    Help for a veteran

I went to DL in 1999. I saw California Adventure being built. But, make sure to go on Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. It is actually better than the version that use to be at WDW. Must see Indiana Jones. It is like Dinosaur at Animal Kingdom. Have fun at Disneyland.:animwink:

    WDW misconceptions...need your help!

A major misconception down here in South Florida is that Disney is too much money and boring. I try to go every other month. I feel spoiled living a few hours away from Disney. But, people in South Florida take advantage of Disney, and don't approach Disney the right way. For example...

Anyone read 'This Old Park' article on Orlando Sentinel?

I agree. I've notice the decrease in maintenance at Disney during my stay in March 2004. I notice things on rides that were broken, and weren't fix the next day I visited. With the increase in ticket prices, hopefully they will get on top of the maintenace issues. I love Disney too much to...

    The "Cool Out" Ride

I love the TTA. I still call it the People mover. The coolest thing is when you are riding the TTA, and the lights of Space Mountain are on. :)
