Expedition: EVEREST to open in January

I wouldn't trust anything from ABC News regarding the parks. The description on my TIVO for Good Morning America today says that WDW is celebrating its 50th. Watching a bit of GMA today, according to Diane Sawyer today is the 50th Anniversery of Disneyland. You would think that news people in...

Eisner refuses to wear mouse ears.

If he wasn't going to wear them then he shouldn't even be holding them because that looks dumb and tells everyone something about him. If he doesn't want to wear them - fine, but don't hold them so stupidly. They should have been given to an aide and not have been in a picture.

    EE a better Matterhorn?

On EE you will be travelling in a train. On the Matterhorn you travel in 2 Tobagans or whatever they are called. On the Matterhorn you are supposed to be sliding down a mountain through caves. While the two rides have similarities - mountain, Yeti, they are very different experiences. I love...

ABC News on Disney Parks Secrets and 50th

The only question I got wrong was the name of the boat. I guessed on the Sylvester Stallone one and was lucky.

    Grand Californian Entrance to DCA

It is really close to Grizzly River Run and a good location to get to Soarin' too.

Tarzan Rocks leaving in September '05

I kind of liked Tarzan Rocks, but not enough to cry over it leaving. Shows should be changed every few years to keep things fresh. A new indoor theater will be nice. That is an interesting rumor about Asia being extended. The theater will fit better in Asia. I feel sorry for the workers...

Good Sign for Wonders of Life?

I think they emphasize the lesser thrills because they know people will do the popular rides anyhow. They know you have been before, so they are just pointing out rides you might not have ridden.

The Official album of the Walt Disney World Resort: The Happiest Celebration On Earth

The description for item # 61499 is the LE set, so they should be sending the LE set to anyone who has ordered so far. I think the whole thing is a big mess and I am disappointed in Disney Direct and DelivEars for all the misinformation and the ordering problems. Some sets were mistakenly put...

The Official album of the Walt Disney World Resort: The Happiest Celebration On Earth

I have heard amazon.com has the 2 CD WDW set on preorder, but I haven't checked that out. Otherwise it will be available at the parks.

The Official album of the Walt Disney World Resort: The Happiest Celebration On Earth

It does let you order again, but I am just worried that it might not be the LE. If you ordered it online then it was free shipping, but tax was like $8.

Garden Grill Open on Sun 4/24/2005

I don't know about all the menu options. Definatelt won't get the seafood one- mussels, etc. or the ravioli - hate mushrooms. Yuck! The others might be ok, but the way the menu is written it sounds kind of foo-foo. Are they trying to make it elegant dining? Do they still have the ice...

The Official album of the Walt Disney World Resort: The Happiest Celebration On Earth

I am so MAD! :fork: It is sold out at Disney Direct. I just called and the lady said she had spoken to someone this morning who ordered 6 of them. I just want 1, just 1. I have been keeping track of news of this for weeks and now I have to try my luck with DelivEars. Yesterday everyone...

Were characters out? I have heard July too. I wonder if it is the character meal that won't be back until July.

    WDW Media Announcement 5/5 @ 12:30

I would think there would be an announcement for AK and for MGM. Maybe something to tease about Epcot's 25th. DCA is getting Monsters Inc and that will be announced at DL on the 4th I think along with the Nemo subs for DL.

Need help planning my first DL trip

It will be a lot busier. Weekends are busier as more locals go. February had a lot of attractions closed too, so he/she above didn't do everything. I would recommend 4 days, so you can do everything and not be rushed and enjoy the atmosphere. Have a great trip!

    DLR Space Mountain Height Requirement

I know it was 40" before as our last trip before it closed my daughter was finally tall enough to ride. With it being the same track layout and similar rockets I would imagine it would still be 40".

    Animals?

During the Grand Canyon diorama there are some animals - a cougar I think and some smaller animals. I don't know if they are taxidermy animals or non moving AAs. They are only shown for a brief amount of time, so you could look away. The dinosaur part is really neat.

The Official album of the Walt Disney World Resort: The Happiest Celebration On Earth

I know the 6 CD box set for DL will be $125 which come swith a hardcover book and Limited Edition gold disc of Walt's first record. I think it is a steal for that price. As far as the 2 disc set is concerned I don't know the price, but would assume it would be about $20-$25.

    SPACE MOUNTAIN Sign Installed !!!!!

The track will be the same for Space as it is for Rock It. the only differences I have heard are the music and some effects in the ride. There really wouldn't need to be any down time as the ride itself is the same. they may need a few minutes to switch over, but that would be it.
