No operationally having the parade is still a HIGH priority to MK operations…there’s a reason it’s still twice a day a year after reopening, sure part of that is due to the Lightning Lane of it all but it’s a high priority for the park.

Back in the day it used to be common for the studio marketing budget to pay for a meet and greet when the film was released as promo. Then when the promo was done the park already had the costume paid for and in their possession and they could decide whether to continue the offering or not...

Every meet and greet has a standby line. Mickey and Fairttale Hall have lightning lanes like you mentioned. Buzz and the bears are purely sightings still.

You just said it, in the last decade or so they have stopped before the fireworks. So going off of that operational knowledge of easily the last 10-15 years…they’re not going to change it now. Especially with staffing shortages, and other issues.
