Star Wars: Skeleton Crew (2023 Disney+ Series)

That's the magic of the volume. The L.A. based productions (Mando, Boba, Ahsoka, Skeleton) utilize the volume and try to keep everything on campus. The U.K. based productions go on location and build massive sets. Both have certain pros and cons, but the L.A. approach gets a whole lot more...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

Excited, but I was also excited about the Hagrid animatronic, the Kong shaman, and Imhotep, all of which looked great in promo but not so great in person. Kong himself definitely impresses and Jurassic Shanghai looks to have incredible animatronics. Looking forward to finding out.

Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy Untitled Star Wars Film

So Disney really needs to pick a release date and hold them to it... exactly what "fans" blamed them for doing before (though both Abrams films had their dates changed from their original ones).

It’s opaque though. There may be glass at the bottom unless that’s been changed as well, but the dome won’t glow from within.

EPCOT Test Track to be reimagined

Solution... have Test Track, Mission Space, and Cosmic Rewind all move at a snails pace like the old diorama attractions they replaced.

As is usual for this site, I see the pre-hate hits the ground before a single shovel.

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

Yes, I love it... but also, it's "theming on a stick" a practice this forum (not me) despises to no end.

MK Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Parts of Lone Ranger are phenomenal. Someday I'll do a fan-edit called "TRAINS!!!"

News New Polynesian Resort DVC villas building to open 2024

Which is? You seem to imply it was for aesthetic reasons but the planned Venetian and Arabian resorts also were to feature massive box-buildings. My guess is budget. But I'd happily hear from anyone in the know.

I'm sure it's been shown before, but is it worse or better than the original concept:

News New Polynesian Resort DVC villas building to open 2024

With this and Grand Helios both going up at the same time I have to say this is the less egregious of the two. As the two near completion I can at least say the poly is looking a bit better as details are added where I'm genuinely shocked at how plain the Helios with the exception of the...

SPOILER Agatha All Along, D+, premier 9/18/24

I'm intrigued so far. WandaVision was phenomenal, but built slowly where we only had a sense of what it was really about several episodes in. This is a slow burn as well. But what has me really excited is how different if already feels from WandaVision. I may end up preferring WandaVision in...

DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Tastes vary. I put WandaVision and Game of Thrones very high on a list of all time greats. To me, Watchmen and Lost are something different altogether. There's not sticking a landing and then there's heading out without ever knowing where you're going and simply downing the plane.

I had no idea this creature exists, but now if there is at least one animal exhibit in the Tropical Americas please let it be the "Ghost Bird" aka Potoo: Perfect creature to encounter on the way to Indiana Jones.

The Watchmen was the illusion of fantastic. I have never seen a promising show fall so completely apart by the end since... Lost. None of the problems were with diversity. They all fall onto Damon Lindelof who I am consistently shocked still finds work.

DHS Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I'm not claiming any knowledge, just mentioning potential. Having shafts of bright daylight from above would be striking if they could pull off such lighting and allow for dark recesses in areas. If not, the skylights could still stay and the ride just takes place at night if needed with stars...

Avengers Campus: E-Watch! (Waiting on the new ride)

Having finally seen it myself I do believe creating Batuu was the way to go. It's a Star Wars hodge-podge that somehow also feels cohesive and unique. They laid an amazing foundation. It could use more finishing touches, but as a land it's solid. The area around the Falcon is as perfect as...

DHS Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I imagine as we're lifted a door or doors will be lifted alongside us. As in the concept art there should be other tracks in the building with doors/characters flying past us which should give a greater sense of speed in a ride that I expect will be fairly tame. Mirrors in the main building may...

DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

So, you have two that coincide with animals (one much more than the other) but what about nature? Pepa controls the weather- which could really be used well in an attraction (Mystic Manor has both a great frost effect along with a wind-swept finale. Oh, and let's see... ISABELLA CONTROLS...

Hoping the Indians Jones temple is visible from the fountain plaza as I’ve always felt Dinosaur was hurt by visibility or lack thereof. The red temple should draw the eye more at least.
