Can disney expand the Walt Disney World Monorial?

gotta tell ya as someone who uses mass transit everyday to get wherever i need to go, i would freak out and give big cheers if they did expand it to all the parks. I think that was the original idea, but it fell to the wayside. One day all our dreams will come true. I firmly believe that...

What ride/attraction for you is the most relaxing in WDW???

definatly People Mover er er Tomorrowland Transit Authority, I rode this with my brother (DaveRube) maybe 5 times in a row back in the 90s when our sister and cousin went to the restroom, and I always look forward to it each trip down. Living with the Land is also very relaxing, and a big...

    Main Street USA Characters

Does anyone know what the names of the period characters that wander Main Street, USA? I'm looking for what the group in general is called, I may be making this up, but I was pretty sure that as a whole they had a name. And also what their individual names are i.e. The Mayor. Thanks!

What Is The Best Way To Meet Jack Sparrow And Stitch??

Have to second O'hana Breakfast. You knock out many characters, that come RIGHT TO YOUR TABLE. Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, Minney, and Pluto. I think Minney and Pluto are rotational and they have different characters, but Lilo, Stitch, and Mickey are mainstays for that breakfast. oh, and it's...

    Maelstrom Movie??

So when I was in WDW a couple of weeks ago, I rode Maelstrom (one of my favs!) but the film wasn't playing!! It made me a little sad, because I just kinda like it, and it's part of the tradition for me. Does anyone know if it was just down temporarily, or if they are making a new one? Any...

    presidents week 18-22

The change between this past mon-thurs(11th-14th) and yesterday(15th) was pretty incredible, the amount of people in the park doubled, atleast, and where we didn't have any wait at all earlier in the week, we had 40min waits. But, it still moved very smoothly.

    ESPN Zone

So, While I am very happy to get to be a CM, I really feel that it's not the real experience. The ESPN Zone is owned by Disney Regional Entertainment, so I get some basic CM perks, but that's about it. My roommate used to work for WDW as Pluto, none the less, and he talks of his CM experience...

Question for the Walt Disney historians

My Mother grew up in Florida in the 50s, she said that Orlando was a tiny TINY orange growing town, that there was nothing there, and the land was super cheep. Disney's influence on that city is HUGE, it made that city.

    I'm leaving. . .TOMORROW!

So, I am taking my girlfriend to WDW tomorrow, for a 5 day, 4 night trip. Luckily for me, I work at the ESPN Zone (not the best CM experience I think, but that's another thread) in Times Square. So 1/2 off the resort and free Park Admission with my blue pass! WOOOO!! It's a combo present from...

What if Disney brought back Alien Encounter?

yes I know that there are rides that are almost the same, but the theme and story are different 2 rides where aliens escape from a tube transporter thing, and run amock in a circular room, breathing and spitting on people, would be to close to identical for WDW

What if Disney brought back Alien Encounter?

I think the reasoning that AE was to scary, and didn't really fit the "family" atmosphere of WDW, is correct. Stitch is fun, still kinda scary (atleast a little), and much more family oriented than AE ever was. also, if they brought it back, then there would be 2 rides that were almost...

Can anyone actually imagine Walt Disney World closing forever?

if it did close, which i seriously doubt I will live to see, I would hop the fence and run around, dodgeing security, and go crazy in the abandoned park, kinda like in that Care Bears movie, but without the evil all around
