    Possible Disneyland FastPass Changes

The new Disneyland App is very useful for accurate Ride Times, so adding a FP feature to it? Great! Also FP+ so I can plan in advance? Great! I've been in the Queues of every ride at WDW & DL, I'm over the queue, let me get on that ride and move on to the next thing!

Winter Maiden in Peril, Tug Boats out to Sea, Johnny Appleseed, and Pecos Bill!

This week we watched what turned out to be one of my favorites of the Package Film Era: Melody Time! That Lil' Toot though...

New Frozen Show replacing Aladdin at DCA

Good. The Aladdin show is super fun, but these shows need to come and go! It's been, what, 13 years? Frozen? Cool, it is still one of the most popular new animated films, so why not have a show for fans? Is Frozen overkill happening? Maybe. I'm a huge Maelstrom fan, so Frozen's takeover of...

    The Reluctant Dragon review

I loved that short as a kid! Our VHS copy had Morris the Mini-Moose along with it. Very fun!

Hey Y'all This week we watched Fun and Fancy Free, and boy was it interesting...

DLR Food: Where to eat and where not to!

oh Pecos Bill, why can't you in the West where your story is based!

DLR Food: Where to eat and where not to!

It's not a bad idea, they've brought in Starbucks, and while I'm not crazy about Starbucks coffee, it is better than the coffee they were offering! In-N-Out definitely won't go for it, as they actually pay their employees a great starting wage!

DLR Food: Where to eat and where not to!

Burgers aren't made of chicken... maybe turkey... sometimes beans... The chicken sandwich is their best product. TT burger is just ok, they should bring In'n'Out to do it for them and we'd all agree.

DLR Food: Where to eat and where not to!

I've had very different experiences than you. I'll defend Tomorrowland Terrace, I've not had a poor quality experience, Ive gone there almost every visit for my past dozen or so visits. I've been a passholder for just over a year now, so I go often. But my one experience with the fried...

Can I bring my own 3D glasses?

I'm a West Coaster, but this still applies to WDW as well as DL. For Star Tours & Midway Mania; can I bring my own 3D glasses? I have several pairs from special 3D Movie experiences where I got to keep "collector edition" passive 3D specs. Will they work in the rides, or is the polarity...

DLR Food: Where to eat and where not to!

Carnation TRUMPS the Plaza Inn. I have no nostalgia in my judgement, as I was an East Coaster growing up so I have no loyalty to Disneyland food. The Fried Chicken isn't THAT amazing, it's greasy and plain. You get the same product at KFC. Carnation Cafe has better options and great...

First Trip to Disneyland...have a few questions. :)

I was there yesterday and the longest wait was 30 minutes. If you want to explore every corner of everything and see every show, you'll need a few days. If you want to hit the attractions that don't have copies in Florida and see most things, then I agree that one day at each park is plenty...

Censored Sideboob, Concern for a Hat, and Loathing of an Opera Director

The list of shorts is fairy short (wakka wakka), and I think they are all on Youtube, so you can playlist them and see them as they were presented in Make Mine Music. There isn't a host/narrator or through plotline. It is simply one short after another and the end. As we said in the episode...

Censored Sideboob, Concern for a Hat, and Loathing of an Opera Director

sort of, but calling it a version of "Fantasia" isn't quite right. As Fantasia was made with purpose, and this was a package film that was more thrown together to keep the studio afloat while the animators were either drafted or working on government projects. Watch the episode, you can get...

Censored Sideboob, Concern for a Hat, and Loathing of an Opera Director

A few of the shorts are really great, and there is a lot of beauty, but overall it is a disjointed mess. It isn't that long though, you can knock it out really quickly!

The most powerful/emotional songs in Disney's animated features?

I love that movie too! But I'm a cryer. Babe has me in tears from start to finish. Dumbo is destructive. Even commercials get me going.

The most powerful/emotional songs in Disney's animated features?

Baby Mine, the song the old lady sings to Todd in Fox & Hound, When She Loved Me These three CRUSH me, just thinking about it my eyes are welling up a bit.

My thoughts on "Song of the South"

The biggest offense is the Trope of the "Magical Negro", which is inherently racist. And as pointed out, the fact that any racial turmoil is non-existent in a period where it was anything but is in itself also racist. However, it is a children's film, so challenging social constructs isn't...

Censored Sideboob, Concern for a Hat, and Loathing of an Opera Director

Hey everyone, my lady and I have been embarking on a Disney Journey, of watching every Animated Feature in release order. We're calling it Opening the Vault. This week we watched 'Make Mine Music' from 1946. It is one of the "package films" and even the more casual Disney fan has probably seen...

    Tahitian Terrace to return?

Ah, by the Aladin/Genie/Jasmine meet and greet? I can see it in my mind.
