    Frozen ride replacing Maelstrom?

They've been basically sold out for over a month. It is reeeeeeally popular.

Haunted Mansion details begin to emerge

Amazing picture...and my take on the updates is that I'm glad that they are improving upon the DL versions. The bride was cool, but you can totally see the strings making Leota float...it's neat that they can have the camera follow it and all, but if they can make it ACTUALLY look like she's...

    Alcohol Around The World!

Don't underestimate the gal nor the colorful drink she's carrying...while it tends to be hit or miss, those things can be TOXIC. Someone back there can get pretty generous with the tequila, I had one once that had me pretty close to hammered after only downing a little over half of it.

What show is going into the ABC theater?

As I've heard it there are several European countries (I'm thinking Germany and Holland are among them, but don't quote me) have a huge fan base for HSM, enough for the Studios in Paris to add the Pep Rally as well, even though France, and apparently England, don't really go nuts for it. And...

"True Colors" Pre-Show Honey I Shrunk the Audience

I loved that show. I used to go and watch it and skip the movie, lol. It was so touching and I even copied the words that were involved and made collages with it for my best friends when I was younger. Let me know what you come up with!

Holy crap, it was worse than I remembered. Thanks so much for my Year of a Million Dreams gift!

    Strangest Shows in the Parks

Absolute weirdest show ever? "Galaxy Search" at the Tomorrowland theater, back when the new Tomorrowland premiered. I would kill to have a video of it. 3 headed alien doing elvis, coneheads..'nuff said.

Spaceship Earth - Civil War Scene?

Because Disney World is a union-represented workplace. You have to pay your talent. And 700 dollars to have someone's voice heard by literally millions over many years is actually quite the bargain (especially when the attraction is in also represents Siemens, a company who stands to gain...

Putting Your Hands Up in Space Mountain

I'll confirm, being tall and with crazy long arms, that I can touch both blue and re-entry tunnels with complete ease. But nothing else ever grazes me on the rest of it. However in those tunnels you're traveling so crazy slow that it's quite a non-issue.

    DisneySea in Orlando??????????

OLC has only a 10 year exclusivity contract with WDC. After that anything is up for "stealing." :animwink: They can, but probably won't. DisneySea was crazy expensive and is FANTASTIC but it's not super popular anymore and it's s__________g the budgets away like crazy. They sort of forgot...

First winners of the 'Suite Dreams' announced

This is totally true. My good friend is on the Dream Squad, and he assured me that they just go where the computer tells them. He gave away a shopping spree, and it was awarded to a child in a family of 6. The family could join him and if the parents had so desired they likely could have...

You Have To Check This Out!!!!!!!

Most interesting is the 1990 model for TDL's second gate "Studio Tour." Guess they went in a different direction with that. :-)

    Sea Cab ride Update 7/4/06

Will the track be extended at all? I'm guessing it will be the same ride length retrofitted, yes? Gonna be a mighty short ride if not extended at all, does anyone know if they will do some of the attraction as the preshow and then just the last minute is the seacab ride? I smell a Heimlich's...

WDWMAGIC 10 Year Anniversary guest book

Happy 10th! I became a member back in the 90's when I was living in Paris and wanted to keep up with what was going on back in Florida. I stumbled upon this site and have watched it ever since. Even was (and still am) on the original mail-based discussion forum! Thank you Steve, for everything.

    IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth rumors

As a side note, Gavin Greenaway also did the amazing music for BraviSEAmo as well. It's about the only thing terribly amazing in the show, unfortunately, and those pretty fountains only seem bigger because TDS' lagoon is easily a quarter of the size of Epcot's, if not less. Anyway, Yes...

Block Party and Were YOU at MGM?

I had always heard that Suprise Celebration would come back. An all new show would definitely be an improvement over what has been there recently. At any rate, if they are leaving the backdrop settings that's a plus. They are very well made.

    EpBots

I wonder what happened to those performers, they were amazing. (Probably the contract rain up and they didn't choose to return, just as my other favorite from Italy "Nova Era") And the suits that they had were fascinating. So interactive and obviously controlled by the actors using various...

Block Party and Were YOU at MGM?

But let's not bash the unions too hard. If Disney wants to keep a lift in Fantasmic, they can. They just have to pay their actors as dancers and not characters. Let's remember that they are on a moving vehicle doing something that needs some assemblance of dance training and balance. And as...
