    Best queue at an attraction

My favorites are: 1) Haunted Mansion - I love everything about this ride. My all time favorite ride anywhere. 2) Pirates of the Caribbean - I just love the atmosphere they have created here. Really takes me away to another time and place. 3) Mission:Space - OK, I haven't seen it yet...

Help from those who have stayed @Animal Kingdom Lodge

We stayed there last May and would definately stay there again. We had a 4th floor Savanah view room overlooking the Sunset Savanah. During the middle of the day there were not many animals but in the morning and early evening there were a lot of animals. As stated by others, there was never...

    Favorite places in WDW

Hotels: The lobby of the Polynesian MK: The water fountain/statue of Cinderella behind the castle, the Haunted Mansion (anywhere in or around it), on the submarines on 20,000 Leagues, the queue for Pirates of the Caribbean. EPCOT: The Living Seas, inside the Mexico pavillion, the fountain...

    Zebra Domes for Breakfast

It's a dessert at Boma in the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Imagine a tennis ball cut in half. Now take one half and set it on a plate (flat side down). Now imagine that it is made out of chocolate (if I remember there was a slight mocha flavor). They are very good.

    MGM or AK ???

I'll be happy to go to either if someone would just pay my way  . This is too hard a choice for me as I love both parks. In the past I would have picked AK but on this years visit I finally rode RnR and now I find myself sitting at my desk at work wishing I was on it. I can't imagine...

    Zebra Domes for Breakfast

The most disappointing thing about my dinner at Boma was that I made the mistake of starting at the wrong end of the buffet and by the time I worked my way to the dessert end (4 plates later) I was full. That didn't stop me from trying one of everything (and about 4 zebra domes) but next time I...

Disney Restricts Access to Hotel’s Observation Area

Does the California Grill have a lounge/bar/sushi bar. If so this could be a cheaper way to get to the deck instead of a full meal (and the sushi there is really good!).

A Few of Your Favorite Things

Our first FULL day we always go to MK as that will always be WDW for me and my wife. However, the day we we check in and as soon as we get in the room I always do the same thing - turn on the TV to the WDW info channel. I don't know why but I love watching it.

    Farvorite Resort

I hate this topic because it is so hard to pick just one. I love the Beach Club and AKL but when it comes right down to it I had to go with the Polynesian. I have too many great childhood memories of the place and we also stayed there on our honeymoon so I think I have to go with it.

    Disney Institute...still there?

My understanding is that it has been closed and will be used as the next Disney Vacation Club property. But I could be wrong.

The Contemporary Resort, Not so Contemporary ANY more.

Hmm, well the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian are both potential candidates but if the monorail did go through either of these hotel buildings it would definately make the nightly news. I personally don't think that the Contemporary looks dated (just very familiar). I do think the lobby...

The Contemporary Resort, Not so Contemporary ANY more.

Wow, being from New Jersey it is refreshing to see another state being talked about in this way for once ;) . As for the Contemporary, I only stayed there once in the summer of 1972. Back then it was awesome. Since that was my very first WDW trip the hotel will always have a special place...

    Disney Club ending

I am more than willing to wait and see what the program will be like. If it is good enough I might get the card and use it for any monthly expenses I can (as long as I can pay it off every month). As for the Disney Club going away - I was upset when the MKC went away. I never even joined...

    staying at BCV

I have not stayed at BCV but my parents just got back form there and they loved it. Their home resort is OKW but they plan on staying at BCV from now on if they can get the reservations there. Hopefully, I will get to stay there next June.

    Rumors, Rumors, and more Rumors

Bill & Ted had a regular glass phone booth with more of an anttena on top. Definately looks like a TARDIS.

    Early Entry Info?

The return of EE at MK would be great. We really missed it when we were there in May. If they are only going to do it at one park I am glad it is MK. While the other parks can be "done" without it, it is nice to be able to start the day earlier (when it is cooler), avoid some of the crowds...

Haunted Mansion to Nightmare Before Christmas

While I did like the view from the skyride when I could bring myself to actually look, my fear of heights made me less than fond of the ride itself. I don't really miss the ride at all. (Everyone else in my family loved it, though).

    Very Disapointed

When I was there in May I looked for you Tyler but never saw you :( . Even though I am usually staying at a deluxe resort I always say "Hello!" to the bus drivers (and the boat/monorail drivers too). They are an important part of my trip (Lord knows I don't want to walk from AKL to MK). I...

Do you sacrifice anything to help pay for WDW Trips

I know what you mean, my DVD want list gets bigger each week. I really should start renting some of them instead of buying them. My wife just decided this year to go back to school full time so it will be interesting to see how this effects our vacationing. At least next year we are...

Do you sacrifice anything to help pay for WDW Trips

We try to do that every year. No overtime for me so I generally it is making cutbacks (which is bad since we like to go out to eat). It is worth it but we have been pretty bad about it lately so we will have to start being good again so we can afford to go next year.
