    Park Narrator?

Yeah, I think he also does the VO for the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade, and he is very cheesy.

    Some neat spaceship earth footage

I've already created a fix for the descent. It's called "bring an ipod touch and watch the old descent/ listen to the old score and narration".

Disney Digs Deep Into Marvel's Sack Of Obscure Superheros

I completely agree. Maybe the Hulk will become Battlestar Galactica, and the land will be renamed Sci-Fi City like in Singapore.

    Spaceship Earth not finished?

No, that would have made too much sense. Flying cars and robot butlers are more important to telling the story of human communication...er, "inventing the future". :brick:

Juan's News and Notes of the World

The construction is for the Four Seasons Resort.

    BAH(on tv)

The Earful Tower was 100%, no questions asked the original icon of the park. Just look at the Walt Disney World logo from 1989 to 1998. It had the castle, SSE, and the Earful Tower. Then when DAK opened it was the castle, SSE, Earful Tower, and Tree of Life. The OP was simply pointing out...

    Tiana's Restaurant

I ask the same question every time I see the characters parading down the street and boarding the riverboat. :brick:

    Eyes on EPCOT Center

What are you talking about? The BGM for all of Future World always changes over during the holidays. This is nothing new.

    Horizons and Spaceship Earth locations

Even though Horizons is about the Future in general and unites all the concepts of Future World, Spaceship Earth is more deserving of being the icon of the park. As others have said, its purpose is (was) to show the people of the world coming together through communication to make the future a...

    Why is everyone so upset?!

I'm not going to read through this whole thread since it's probably redundant, but you sir have very eloquently put into words the problem with all of these attractions. Thank you.

    Splash Mountain Referb.

This is known as an exception to the rule. We would never put three adults together unless they wanted to be.

    Splash Mountain Referb.

People get out all the time. And yes, once a guy got killed at drop 3 after falling in the flume and getting hit by another log. After that they installed a thorough intrusion system that automatically stops the ride when motion is detected, but that still doesn't mean that a free floating log...

    Splash Mountain Referb.

If kids were seated with adults, three could sit per row, meaning the max was 12. Assuming the lap bars are individual, which I'm guessing they will be, only 2 will be able to sit per row regardless of size.

    Splash Mountain Referb.

Journey to Atlantis at Sea World has them, so it must not be a law in Florida.

    Splash Mountain Referb.

I was waiting for this to finally come up. Yes, lap bars are being installed, hence the long refurb. They have a prototype right now, but it's got a big "keep out!" by it and CMs can't get near it. The good news is that intrusions should definitely be few and far between, but the bad news is...

We can consider the SM refurb a success becuase they didn't completely destroy it!

Have you ridden it yet? Photos do not do the load justice. The attraction is indeed upgraded. The feeling of being in a space port has been strengthened by everything they've done. Pseybert is correct though. It's sad that the only way to consider something a success is when it is still...

    Disney World or Disneyland?

WDW's Pirates is basically the cliff's notes version. DL's is the complete experience. That's really all there is to it. The Big Thunder Mountains are basically tied. WDW's looks better, is larger, and has the flood scene. DL's is better maintained, has the goat with the dynamite, and the...

SPACE MOUNTAIN- I assure you, we are SOFT re-OPEN!!!

In a way Disney may take fans' thoughts into account, but I think their interpretation of what we want is completely wrong. It's painfully obvious they keep putting Easter eggs in the attractions to make good will toward fans, such as the mark VII monorail and the "great big beautiful tomorrow"...
