Tivoli was such a beautiful park and I can see why it inspired Walt for Disneyland. Tivoli especially takes on a magical quality at night.

On a personal note I teach color theory and painting and I have always appreciated the color theming of the Disney parks and films. I am working on a course where I am going to explore the color theory of Disney...very excited about putting that together.

Imagineer John Hench had a large influence on the color choices of WDW. He also wanted to choose colors that would respond to the intense Florida sunshine.

I came across these series of letters from 1964 starting with a little girl who liked Woody Woodpecker wrote to Walt Disney. We all know that Walt Disney didn't create Woody but he knew who did. I'll let you read the results but it really shows that these guys had big hearts...

Have to agree with the Innoventions loop. If we have a hot day and high humidity I play it and sit on my porch and close my eyes....feels like Epcot in summer. I also have fond memories of the Land interior loop. I like guessing all of the songs that used the word "sun" or "moon" in the title.
