Disney closes enough of their own rides based on other reasons and closing a ride based on another companies different take on the same concept would shutter any theme park.

Yea. D23 is no different than any other major convention. Comic Con, is the next closest one I can think of with a mix of announcements, events, swag and merch to be bought. The lines are long, the people varried in levels of "fan commitment", and the value of it all isn't going to match up...

Say what you will about the pre-advised lack of SW & Avatar announcements... the concerts are worth the admission alone.

What happens when guests are stuck on the monorail for long periods of time like this from a customer service stand point? I've never experienced longer than maybe 30 minutes.

Oddly enough in that photo and what I've seen, the dino is the only thing that looked really off to me. Not sure why that was thrown in with Pandora unless it is some hint at something else or just a random do-dad. I get drawing inspiration from dinos though for the creatures.

The "handle with care and skill" box leads me to wonder if they will have some sort of "Buzz Lightyear" or "MIB" type blaster component to one of the attractions.
