are the toy guns coming back?

Will they? Don't bet on it. Should they? Yes, probably. Most sensible people think it is silly to ban toys like this... >_>

How do you plan in your rest/down time?

I take extra long lunch/dinner breaks in the parks, then supplement any other low energy problems with COFFEE!!!

    March 7th-10th Crowd Levels

I'll be in the parks on these exact dates as well. To make up for the crowds I expect to be in them all day long, taking advantage of early morning, late evening and during the "lunch break" when families head back to the resort to rest and nap.

Are the light up Mickey ears still a thing?

They are still sold, but they have absolutely seen a decline in use around the parks. I remember being there when they first were used on World of Color and Fantasmic at the Disneyland Resort. It was truly one of the most amazing things I had ever seen. The thousands making up the crowd was just...

Is the Unoffical Guide to Disney book worth it?

I vote NO. Nothing in that book (though well organized) that I need to pay extra for that I can't find on Disney's website or 3rd party fan sites like WDWMAGIC. ...or just ask your Disney Geek Expert friends. But then again, I'm solo and adventurous. Part of the fun is always exploring and...

    Undercover Secruity in Disney Parks?

Always. Go Oakley or go Home!

Change itinerary due to this Crowd Forecast?

When I did my first Walt Disney World Trip, I toured each park in the order I thought I would enjoy them from least to best: AK, HS, EP then MK (turns out, I was correct too). The flipside is I got in early evening on day 1 and Rafiki dropped by my room, nodded, put his hands on my shoulder and...

How Much Of Your Vacation Do You Spend At Resort Hotel? Poll

The resorts are certainly a part of the overall Disney experience, from the moment you jump on the bus, in my opinion. But the main reason I am there is for the parks, and I spend every waking moment possible exploring the parks. Tired? Nothing a cup or two of coffee can't fix or an extra long...

    Undercover Secruity in Disney Parks?

I am almost always in the parks by myself and I know I have played the part of "Undercover Security" before. If I see something outrageous, dangerous or illegal that I think is possibly being missed by cast members or security (though not likely), I alert CM's. During Disneyland's first 24 hours...

What are your favorite WDW podcasts?

I'm biased, but you folks might give Walt Disney World News Today a try. What drew me to this podcasts when I was mass downloading WDW podcasts for my first Walt Disney World trip was a need to counterbalance WDW Radio. Lou has the highest ratings and has done the biggest 3rd party Disney...

    feeling nervous here...

I think everyone has pretty much covered it. Just want to add I think it is nearly impossible to have a bad vacation at Disney World unless you and/or your travel agent are just so incredibly incompetent that you haven't bothered to so much plan anything or read Disney FAQ's/WDW Magic forums...

    Paint The Night Rumors!!!!!!!!

You guys can make a copy of PNT and truck it over to WDW. But just don't steal it again like MSEP! ;-)

Help me Choose: Hollywood Studios VS Animal Kingdom

I still haven't made a final decision. Lots of excellent tips. In fact, I was going to DHS, but I almost forgot Rivers of Light might be up and running on my trip (I'll be in either park on March 9th). So I may just do last minute when I arrive and see what is open and what isn't and go from...

Help me Choose: Hollywood Studios VS Animal Kingdom

Excellent. Plenty of time to get over to Hollywood Studios if I choose the park hopper and do both.

Help me Choose: Hollywood Studios VS Animal Kingdom

k One thing that is true about me is I do take the Disney parks slowly. Like a stroll, letting it all sink in. Just being in the parks and not at work or home is important. In this sense, these parks can certainly be full day parks. And honestly, all the stuff they have and will be closing...

    Price Increase Coming?

At this point...Disney not raising prices would be just plain weird. As far as supply and demand go, it's just going to keep happening. Disney is limited to the middle and upper class folks now.

Help me Choose: Hollywood Studios VS Animal Kingdom

Nobody going with me. Just me. I like Star Wars like any other person, but am not a big Star Wars geek. More a Star Trek guy. I really did like the Indiana Jones show. What is the latest I would need to be in park to see that?

Help me Choose: Hollywood Studios VS Animal Kingdom

Last trip, I spent all day in both parks and did almost everything. If you really take your time and take a relaxing stroll through animal kingdom, seeing all the shows and hidden gems, you can really turn it into a full day park...well, full day in the sense that it closes at what, 6 PM or so...
