EPCOT Announced: Mary Poppins Attraction in UK Pavilion

No - its a great song. A Brave style castle as front to a dark ride could fit in particuarly well - plenty of that style about the UK. Plenty scope for a Brave dark ride or something more UK based. Titled like "Isles of Wonder" - which Martin im sure had on a design he had made up.

Rumor Siemens is going to end their sponsorship with the parks - Spaceship Earth and IllumiNations

Coming from the original Perth, in Scotland, that would suit me. Actually, we are getting our own 'illuminations' as part of a multi-million pound investment in the place. Hopeful that new Illuminations here will be IP free and, just as RoE was/is, a superior show technically.

News Wishes to be replaced with new 'Happily Ever After' nighttime spectacular

Watched it again with the video here and you can appreciate it even more when viewed from distance compared with the parks blog video - which had to showcase everything best it could. Picked up on more things this time too, such as the single shell at the start of the Brave segmemt representing...

News Wishes to be replaced with new 'Happily Ever After' nighttime spectacular

Worth getting up at 2am for - absolutely stunning. It depends on what you want to take from a show, some have a need to 'feel something' or an emotional connection, others just need to be impressed by what they see - the category I am in. I thought it was hugely impressive and visually...

News Wishes to be replaced with new 'Happily Ever After' nighttime spectacular

Certainly looks impressive anyway. Watched it again with brightness up and what I thought looked like possibly being (despite not yet being mentioned as part of the show )drones at 3:14, may be a light effect on a tree - but they do look behind it.

Eisner wants to run English Football team.

Portsmouth, who its fair to say have been through the mill over the last few years on and off the field, look to possibly have a new owner in Michael Eisner... Portsmouth: Michael Eisner knows takeover will be financially 'daunting' - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39803723

News Wishes to be replaced with new 'Happily Ever After' nighttime spectacular

Here is a link to a video of the full test I found on periscope. Certainly not lacking on the pyro front - quite impressed by this first impression https://www.pscp.tv/w/a9ghYTczMjg4MjZ8MWRSS1pBb1Fxa3J4Qm55YdzCo1rwifU4zmQQbjdTUK-ZIxKjG3whYtHtWGfc

Rumor New nighttime show at Epcot

Skydance.....;) (couldnt resist) Will be a sad day once RoE is no more, however it will be exciting to see what kind of show will be produced, especially one that is even more technically advanced. I dare say it will be a harder task to create a soundtrack which is better than the current one!

    What characters could come back?

Fully expecting there to be a meet and greet once Duck Tales comes back next year. Fully expect most of those in the queue will be 25+

    Nikon D500

Anyone else here going for this? I got the D7100 when it came out actually on launch day, having had the D300, and while it is a good camera, the buffer or lacktherof almost can be annoying at times. The specs on it, specifically the 10fps will be excellent for my football(soccer) stuff...

Circle of Life Closed for Refurbishment?

Biggest loss for me is the pre-show video as loved the music on it. I do always wonder if, due to the age of it, some of those on that pre-show video have visited with their own kids

WDW Photographers Gallery (all images welcome)

Took the plunge and bought a D4S earlier this year - mainly in part of becoming the photographer for a ladies football team. One of the highlights of this season was winning the league cup. Promotion was celebrated with champagne and confetti

WDW Photographers Gallery (all images welcome)

Been a while since I posted in this thread, so a few local ones from last few months. I'll put up some WDW ones from June and New York from September at some point. Back in June it was the annual Kirking of the Council parade and service - where our councillors parade through the town to have a...

    Best Camera Bag/Backpack for WDW?

I also use the previous version of this bag https://www.lowepro.co.uk/categories/products-passport/passport-sling-iii/pd232/255/ - light enough for the parks, and takes my D7100 and additional lens, along with camcorder other bits and bobs and a light jacket for the afternoon rains. I've...

New mens apparel and accessory shop 'Twenty Eight and Main' to open in the Marketplace Co-Op

This stuff looks really nice. It's about time they realised men don't want the large, often garish designs which are fine to wear at Disney, but you aren't going to wear them out and about at home and want something subtle. I was glad to get one of the t-shirts with small WDW 2015 logo on left...

What Disney character do you wish to meet but aren't seen at all?

Scrooge - since we are never there at Christmas, and Launchpad. You can just see that when the new Duck Tales comes on, and they do a meet and greet - there are going to be queues of predominantly 30 somethings.

    Post Something You Miss

I'm with you there, loved that dish and the version with red wine reduction. Last year it came with sweetcorn and looked awful, almost as if it had been produced from the backside of a cat. In fact, the new menu at California Grill is pretty poor in comparison, we never went this year, did...
