Price Hikes Galore! (Genie+ variable pricing, ILL, refillable mugs, SWGE lightsaber and droids)

I have said it twice now, this is the 3rd :). I'm done. I've reaped 25 years of some really good trips to Disney World/Disney Land. They don't get a pass just because they need to "maximize" profits by not delivering the experience, (then the value spent does not justify the cost they charge)...

Price Hikes Galore! (Genie+ variable pricing, ILL, refillable mugs, SWGE lightsaber and droids)

Simple fix- not going anymore, period, No matter how high the raise the prices, they will never lower the attendance in each park. so you still will continue to pay more and stand in paid Genie lines.

Price Hikes Galore! (Genie+ variable pricing, ILL, refillable mugs, SWGE lightsaber and droids)

After my last stay at Yacht club in September, seeing the lousiest club level experience I've ever seen, I won't get fooled again. Sent it over to Jeff Vahle, stating this stay was not a part of Disney signature services. He responded immediately then a few days later got the canned response...

Chapek's comments - he doesn't want anyone on this board at WDW any more

Disney is riding the wave to get as much as they can because the future is clouded. With the fall discount release-look at 2nd half of December, folks aren't really jumping on these discounts as fast as before. The looming recession and just everyday living needs are far more important.

Chapek's comments - he doesn't want anyone on this board at WDW any more

Disney's lack of expanding over the years (and I don't mean 1-billion-dollar attraction's) is on them, their hands are not clean either.

News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

Really doesn't matter where anything is "said" to be located at- Never gonna be built. But I'll digress, it won't be opened until 2045.

    Are we just spoiled?

Dont think so Cap- for the price they want us to pay, the how "great" Genie+ and other cash grabs they boast is "fixing" the guest experience deserves some push back to keep them grounded. Let's wait a couple more months when it finally works and they have empty parks. Because of the economy.

    News D23 Expo 2022

It kinda funny how Josh praises it's "Super" fans at this event, big change from last couple weeks as they were "unfavorable and referred to as legacy" fans prior whom eat up to much time in the parks with AP's. Cant have your cake and eat it too.

News Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party returns for 2022

We did get there at 4pm-went and ate at the Crystall palace and went to Jungle Cruise and followed the rides all the way to Tomorrowland. Everything was walk on except Haunted Mansion-only waited 10 min max. We rode EVERY ride in the Magic Kingdom- haven't done that since the 80s.

Was at the September 9th (Friday) Party, sold-out, was the least crowded party I have ever seen. We had a blast.

News Disney Explores Amazon Prime-Like Membership Program to Offer Discounts and Perks

Well-here is my take: Was very excited on D+ launch- now not to impressed with it. Nothing Disney does now is to strengthen the brand for its consumer's-it's very obvious the company's focus is short term cash grabs. Having said that, it's a no brainer to pass on it.

Josh D'Amaro comments on rising prices and "additional" or removed services: "An inevitable result of progress"

If so successful- where is the bump in stock? Dividends have not been paid out in years.

News Disney CEO Bob Chapek suggests price hikes are coming to the parks thanks to guest demand

Is the problem really the crowds? or is it lack of staffing and still closed offerings that spread the crowds out?

News Disney CEO Bob Chapek suggests price hikes are coming to the parks thanks to guest demand

The choice is yours, if you still find value to continue trips to Disney, have fun, enjoy the moment and drive on. Now, if you're hoping that future trips will return based on the nostalgia you have enjoyed from years past, sorry it's not returning. Chappie's greatest move thus far was to...
