As much as HEA is the best firework show to ever premiere at Magic Kingdom, I do miss the rich orchestra sound and iconic music of Wishes. We need a blend of the two, imo
I just don't see today's Disney building a coaster with 3 inversions anymore, sadly. Personally, I think Disney should dabble in that arena again. WDW could definitely use a real thrill coaster, something a tad more thrilling than Everest and RnRC
WDSP is often the laughing stock of all the Disney Parks, but in my opinion they'll have the superior Avenger's campus, and preserving ToT and not turning it into that eyesore like in DCA was a great move.
... If only the park could receive some unique expansions and not just copied and pasted...
Once Epic Universe opens, I hope Universal will focus on the Studios park and really lean into their legacy properties and make that park showcase all of their classics.
Once WDSP finishes this expansion, I think Hollywood Studios will be the Disney park with the least amount of water in it. Not only with the smallest body of water... but it still lacks a water ride, something Frozen will checkoff for WDSP. Once this opens, I think DHS will be the only Disney...
Oh wow, I feel like Hong Kong's has to open before Tokyo's. HKDL is way further along, and I'm assuming all of Tokyo's Fantasy Springs section will open all at once
From all indications, it appears the Avengers land in WDSP will be a lot better than DCA's... and they still get to keep their ToT in tact. Was Paris ever slated to get the "Avengers E-Ticket" that DCA and HKDL was suppose to get? And if so, is that still planned for a (I'm assuming far off)...
I can easily see this becoming the E-Ticket ride for the Avenger lands. Not saying an exact clone of this ride (which I hope they wouldn't do) but definitely using this attraction's ride system and just have the Avengers IP in it
I think they would be an eyesore during the day, granted not as bad as Harm but still pretty ugly in front of the castle. And again, the moat is like 3-4ft deep at most... the fountains wouldn't even be able to float, they'd bottom out
Animal Kingdom should get a proper replacement for Primeval Whirl AND a new ride elsewhere, I would love to see Mystic Manor be added to one of the existing lands like Asia, the park needs actual additions not just replacements.
What Animal Kingdom will get announced at D23... lol probably...
lol Fountains? Drones? Disney doesn't have money for that.
But for real, the return of HEA alone will be enough to make fans happy and to boost GSATs, they won't need to update anything. Although I'm sure we'll see an Encanto segment in there somewhere
Not really. The last I heard, its a indoor boat ride (ala Pirates of the Caribbean) and could have its load/unload outside, meaning your boat ride has a small, tiny, tiny outdoor section before you head inside for the majority of the ride.
Ah I see, thank you. I knew it would never happen under Iger, and especially not now under Chapek, but was also surprised Eisner never went for it and gave it the green light considering he expanded Disney World so much
Hey Marni, how close were we ever to getting a monorail expansion? I'm surprised it never happened under Eisner/Wells, I'm assuming the last time it was ever seriously considered was in the 90s?
... if Disney isn't willing to fix the ride's multi-million dollar audio animatronic... which is pivotal to the entire plot of the ride... then they're not going to install a brand new fog system just for an improved ambience
