True, but that is mostly 'locals' thinking that way. Guests from Ohio and New York that come down once every couple of years don't want stores where they can get the same things back home. They come down for DISNEY stuff. Granted, there are shops everywhere on property that are Disney only...

To respond, in my opinion, the store is packed now because it just opened. And being packed and having a line at the registers are two differnent things. I guess I'm just going on the fact that I don't see people walking around everyday with those types of hats on. I see a ton of baseball...

I see your point with the South American/Euro tourists, everything is cheaper here for them. But for the rest, with online shopping, most all those sunglasses are lower priced elsewhere. But you never know, maybe Disney is making enough leasing the space that they don't care how much of a cut...

I agree with some of the other posts, these types of hats won't sell enough to keep it around. And the sunglasses hut at the MK, they are top end name brand sunglasses ($200 and up) at retail price. I'd also be suprised if that is around in a couple of years.

I agree with CJR...at least it will be something new, with new attractions. But I don't think it will improve attendance at that park. Just like when Expedition Everest opened, it was the hot park for a little while but then back to reality. Now you can get on Everest under 20 min wait even...

No, sounds like just the prize games. Most of the games in that arcade are regular video games so shouldn't be too noticable.

Has anyone else noticed that when the parking lot is "at capacity", they still always have the Scar and Cruella sections always empty? Even though they park people on every grass area around the lot, how can they consider the lot at capacity with 2 sections empty?
