Parts of Millers Road are close to the main building, but avoid 17-22. We ended up in 21 last year and it was quite a hike. We are NOT opposed to walking significant distances, but the OKW setup is not what we're used to. Rather than walking along paths, like at POR or CBR, you're walking...

I bought mine over the phone last week because I had questions about it. The CM had me link it using a memory maker code that he gave to me over the phone. It didn't show up in MDE automatically.

I should say, though, that we do plan to buy into DVC as soon as the Canadian dollar gets closer to being on par with the USD. It's projected to take a major jump if Clinton wins, so we could be buying in the near future!

We did the DVC tour last year and have looked into it extensively. You don't own actual property. The "shares" revert back to Disney at their expiration date. You don't get bought out when they expire. From another site (and confirmed during our DVC tour): Membership in Disney Vacation Club...

Was closed this past winter during our late jan/early Feb trip. We really missed it. Heading down next Feb 27th and happy it'll be open!

Feb 27-March 10, currently booked at CBR but hoping to switch to POR if a room opens up with the PSD package. Big family reunion, 5-6 families total. Cannot wait! The planning is a blast.

YES! This is absolutely why we love the dining plan. Makes us feel like rich people who don't care what the food costs, even though we paid up front before the trip!

Couldn't agree more! I'd switch from a moderate to a value rather than give up the dining plan.

If you're booking a vacation package on a special offer that includes the dining plan, keep it. You're probably getting a good deal and substantial savings. Honestly, even if the dining plan only breaks even for us, we love it for the convenience. It also "forces" us to eat at nice restaurants...

At least 2, but normally 3, at MK. 2 at epcot, 2 at AK, 1 at DHS.

I love AK, even in its current state. It's a beautiful park to just wander around and take in the sights and sounds. And ROL is going to be incredible. Looking forward to seeing the park at night this winter. PS, you forgot the Lion King and the Safari.
