This makes me sad. EPCOT isn't at all what it used to be and really there are (IMO) only 3 FP worthy things there (MS, Soarin', TT) so using a FP there really leaves no choice and heavily crowded existing areas. Closing West will just be one less area to draw some of the crowd.

Contemporary - pure theme - Boardwalks creepy clown slide at the pool just bugs me! The pools at Contemporary are very nice (and when I stayed there one was just adult!) Garden wing is great we had a first floor with "patio" nice and quiet and near the pool.

It always works like "magic" but if you're coming in from a colder climate make sure to put some "resort" wear in an easily accessible place to do a quick change before hitting the parks. (if your room isn't ready)

We did CRT years ago (way before the mad dash for ADR) it's an experience. We do a character meal every trip (now a party of all adults) One of our faves is Askerhaus in Norway. Another fave is Tusker House in Ak (love the safari outfits on all the characters)

I stayed in the Contemporary and loved it. We were in the garden rooms (they are much closer to the pool) and as many have said the walk is quick to MK. Enjoy!
