What I would like to see is to remove the hat and completely re-do the front of the Chinese Theater to make it a Disney landmark - not a copy of something somewhere else. The Chinese Theater is cool, but it is not a Disney original design as is The Castle, Spaceship Earth and the Tree of Life...

But it is going to soon be called "Disney's Hollywood Studios"

Why did they remove the primsms? Did it have to do with Leave a Legacy?

Doubtful since there is still a standing section of the former Wand Structure and the stars have not begun to be removed. I would imagine the crane will be up until mid-late September.

I think Disney will need something to combat the upcoming Harry Potter section of Islands of Adventure - whether that is Beastly Kingdom or something else. Animal Kingdom can use another Land more than the other parks right now and what better time than the present! Maybe they will announce...

The stars were placed on Spaceship Earth when the Wand went up so they should be coming down with the rest. SE would look pretty silly leaving stars on the top with the Want now gone.

Any word if there was work done overnight? Do they work on the evenings that Epcot has Extra Magic Hours? Also heard it was raining pretty hard yesterday so I am not sure if they got the night off or not. Either way, progress is moving along swiftly in just 3 weeks of work!

Any updates for today if the rest of the park side of Mickey's Arm or the Entrance side of the hand/arm have come down?
