Overnight parking charges to increase at Walt Disney World Resort hotels June 2019

I can't wrap my head around why, at the very least, overnight resort parking would not be complimentary for Platinum and Platinum Plus APs. bc Disney. That's why.

News Annual Pass price increases June 2019

I'm relieved that I renewed my Platinum pass in February. $800 at that time felt like a lot of money. I'm not sure I'll be able to afford that renewal next year, which feels like the saddest thought in the world, but one I've been coming to terms with since Disney park prices across the board...

Pre-Trip This most likely won't happen, but ya never know. (Edit: Yep, it's happening!)

I'm so glad things worked out! My last trip, it felt like the Universe was trying to tell me that maybe it wasn't meant to be. But I can be pretty persuasive :) The plans so far look great! I have yet to ride FoP, so I feel your disappointment there. Looks like I'll miss you by a few days...

    I Found Katiebug 2.0

Hahaha I saw this about a month ago. It was shared on one of the Disney facebook groups I'm part of. I still don't believe that it's real. So many people troll those groups just to get reactions and go viral. Because who needs happiness when you can just go viral on the internet?

    Jersey Roll Call!!

I'm a weird one! I bought my first house this past summer in Oaklyn, NJ which is south Jersey for all you Northerners. It seems the only South SJ town anyone from North/Central Jersey knows is Cherry Hill, so if you know where Cherry Hill is..I'm about 10 minutes south of CH and 10 minutes east...

Worst Disney World hotel experience thread

Even if there's any shred of truth to her tale, I love/hate the people who join the board and the first post is an epic complaint which we all drag them for. And yes, there's a 100% chance that this person is a troll.

Pre-Trip This most likely won't happen, but ya never know. (Edit: Yep, it's happening!)

Yay! Nothing better than that birthday button! So exciting if all works out! Park hopping is such a life saver, especially during Spring Break season. Can't wait to hear more about your plans

Family of 5, three teenage boys resort help

I think Pop Century may be a great option. It's still a value but the rooms have been recently refurbished. Once the Skyliner is running, it will give you an additional mode of transportation around the resort.

tips for 1st and only trip! - coming from australia

I would rope drop 7DMT and save your fastpasses for later on that morning. You can get a handful of rides done within the first hour or so of park opening. You shouldn't have a problem getting a fastness for HM. It sounds like you'll have plenty of time to play things by ear if fast passes don't...

Long Time Reader, Brand New Member

Yup! I was born and raised in New York, an hour east of New York City, and have been in the Philadelphia area for 4 years now. If I had it my way, we would have bought a house in Florida. I'm looking out my window to a rather unpleasant morning of snow, sleet, and rain. Thankfully I work from...

What's your "go to", "cannot miss" meal at the world.

Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie is my go-to for a great quick meal. I like to hit it early in the day just after it's opened for a jambon beurre, cafe au lait, and a mimosa. Everything is so fresh and the vibe is still so mellow. The prefect way to start my day at Epcot.

    Seeking advice from Annual Passholders

If it's one trip, it's not going to be worth it. If you're looking for these perks, get the Disney Visa card. The only things you won't get are free parking, memory maker and discounted special event tickets, although the difference in price between AP and regular guest tickets is minimal...

    The trendiness of Disney

I think the only visible trend is the influx of Disney fashion lines popping up which I think has a lot to do with Mickey's 90th Celebration. Instagram has also proved that there is a viable market right now Disney fashion in the 18-30 year old age group, especially. You're seeing a lot of...

Annual Passholder: Bus vs. Driving to Parks

This was my first year as an AP and I took full advantage. We stayed off property and took the car everywhere. It was a tiny thrill flashing that card and being waved through. It would be a different story if I were staying on property, though.

Rumor Photo I.D. required for entry??

I definitely was under the impression that ID's were required when using your AP (for park entry or for discounts). I've only been an AP for less than a year but for my trip this past April, most cast members asked for my ID once I presented my AP, so much so that for this time around when I...

    Unofficial Guide

I checked his twitter and he has replied to a couple of people that have reached out to him with their concerns. He expects that Amazon's estimates are incorrect and the orders should continue to ship earlier than their predictions.

    Park hopper newbie

Are you anticipating that you have 4 days of theme parks and then a 5th day for a water park? I'm just trying to understand. What Rob confirmed : with the 4-day park hopper plus, you have 4 days within a 14-day period (after first use) to go to any theme park and water park. You can go to...
