While p+p I don't think ever sold out they were decently attended (least far more than this..) I think the economy issues also played a part with their attendance..

Yeah this will be my 10th event so except the 'September' event being in August with a Pixar theme.. Same as years prev :)

I could hope with the addition of virtual runs that at live races it once again becomes a 'finisher' medal vs a 'participation' medal.. Personally I'm not a fan of virtual runs but I see that they have a huge following and fit a need that many newer runners have till they are ready to join...

It's not just 'three rides' as you'll then be much closer than 'everyone else' when the rest of the park opens so say you want the princesses? You'd be first in line, plus whatever else nearby you'd still be slightly ahead of the crowds that are cruisin down Main Street..

If you are ever in a show and you hear 'stars n stripes forever' run run like there is no tomorrow.. (Stars n stripes is the 'disaster song' that when played during circuses & theatre signaled something was wrong- usually very wrong...)

I'm intrigued.. More so with the potential capabilities they have if they use both active n passive rfid and if the use it to what it could easily do how it could affect future road races..

Because with every ending comes a new beginning... I think I'd rather have a full reimagined park than what the studios has become but with an awesome light show 2 months of the year..

Agreed that it was beginning to get more like a costume walk than a endurance running event and at the end of the day it's not particurally safe to have excessive costumes on the course so all in all I agree with the new rules.. However it's freakin crazy they drop this less than 24 hrs out...

I noticed today at DAK the metal detectors were being run by wdw security not a 'yellow shirt csc events or whatever they were shirt' visible...

Dinner was really good, service was excellent (was her only table for 2/3rds of the meal) if it wasn't for the guest 3 tables away who decided to loudly face time through the meal it would've been fantastic overall.. Glad to see decent attendance and glad we tried it and would gladly go...

One thing that the 'short course' had over the 'long course' is that if weather did hit there would have been shelter for most runners vs none on Osceola...

My 2 cents- I really wish they'd go back to only parks and resorts having main gates as I think that's more the cause for increased blackout dates more so than money etc.. If 4-5x more people have potential to go to x park y day and the 'acceptable threshold of cast admits' puts the 'potential...

A large part of the issue- giving main gates to ALL cms (Disney store, abc, ESPN, marvel etc) so you have 3-4x more cards in circulation than pre 2014..

Some of the colors haven't had a d in years, some never did

the picture doesn't bother me any more than the metadata dis is gleaming from everyones magic band including children..

The same bag sizes was enforced at trade night last week and overall didn't seem to be to limiting.. We can get 3 large trade bags in one 'regulation sized bag'.. It was nice not seeing peeps drag pushcarts, wagons, shopping carts etc... The new rules don't bother me at all.. I hate how long...

The area was lit well due to the amount of runners and quite a few trams were within a foot or two of the course.. They made no attempt to hide them so it was easy to notice the dirt/wheels/axels gone on some.. Had it not been down pouring id have photographed it but didn't want to risk my phone...

I ran the same path and noticed about the same- the trams looked rather sad and filthy.. the inside of the loading area queue didn't seem touched but didn't notice beyond that..
