    Disney Workout

You can get some serious mileage in at the parks. On our last trip, at the end of day i snapped screenshots of Apple's health app that tracks steps and walking/running distance. For Magic Kingdom and Epcot the average was roughly 16,000 steps over 6 miles. Day at the Magic Kingdom:

    parking vs. shuttle

We stay offsite at a place with a shuttle, nice motorcoaches, but as mentioned they only ran on a schedule with maybe 3 times for each park in the morning and then 2-3 pick times in the evening at each park. so if you need to leave mid-day or miss the pickup time you'd be stuck. So we always...

    Disney While Pregnant??

My DW has been twice while pregnant. 1st time she was about 7 months in December and just us, the 2nd time she was about 4 months in February with our 6yr DD. Both times weren't a problem for her. She had to skip a lot of the rides obviously but we just took it slow, took breaks, kept hydrated...

To rent a car or not to rent a car...

This too. Love getting in a car and it just being us. Not hearing 30 other conversations at the same time, or that awkward silence that nobody wants to break cause everyone will hear you, is nice. We can sit down, chat about the day, etc.. and not worry about disturbing others on the way back...

To rent a car or not to rent a car...

On our last trip we did something similar with Alamo. With their insider program (that's free) you can do a online check-in thing and print the paperwork before you leave. Then when you get to MCO you completely bypass the counter and just walk out to the garage, pick your car, and leave. Just...

To rent a car or not to rent a car...

Ever since we started going with the kids we've rented a car. We've stayed onsite and offsite and both ways found having the car to be convenient for us. Just knowing that when we leave a park and can simply walk to our car rather than waiting for a bus and having to lug the stroller, bags, and...

    Boma or Sanaa

Sanaa gets my vote as we simply love the food there. The bread service is awesome and the butter chicken is fantastic too. Yum...

Poly, Epcot Resort or OWC Marriott for Honeymoon?

We stayed in a Boardwalk villa for our honeymoon (married at Sunset Pointe @ Poly). The boardwalk is our favorite resort, though so it was no brainer for us. Walking distance to Epcot and DHS, can catch the big Illuminations fireworks from the boardwalk and wonderfully themed. We've always...

Attractions that offer the best views

While it's no more, the Skyway had some fantastic views.

Which resort would you most WANT to stay at but haven't?

Polynesian for us. It's been a place the DW and I wanted to stay at for years. We even got married there (but oddly stayed at the Boardwalk that trip). Of course we know it's different now from 2006 and more so from our memories as kids, but it's still something on our bucket list we'd loved...

    Fast pass child. Swap

Yup, sure can. We did this on our past two trips with the kids. Kinda nice cause you can double the amount of fastpass+ you can get daily since you only need to use one fastpass+ per ride when doing a child swap. At the front of the line, all together go tell the cast member you wanna do a...

New high-tech guest laundry machines rolled out at Walt Disney World Resort hotels

This is kinda cool. We typically bring enough clothes to last half a trip, wash them and then wear them again. Being able to remotely check on the status would be a nice convenience for the next time we stay onsite.

Car rental companies-who do you use?

We used Alamo on our last trip. I signed up with their alamo member thingy and did some sort of online pre-checkin stuff so after we got our bags we could walk right out to the cars, pick a car in our class and just show the paperwork we printed at home upon exit. Didn't have to wait in any line.

Morimoto Asia coming to 'The Landing' district of Disney Springs in 2015

DW and I are looking forward to this. We used to be huge original Iron Chef watchers and used to run Iron Fans Online. We dined at Morimoto in Philly shortly after it opened where I had brief visit (eg: Photo op! lol) with Morimoto. This places looks fabulous though. We're gonna have a bunch...

Do you take your cell phone in the park & where do you keep it?

DW and I brought our iphones. I kept mine in my pocket (where I always do) while my DW switched between pocket and our small backpack. We used them for taking photos and video a lot of times, checking wait times on the Disney app, a few times to change FP+ bookings and for reaching each other...

    Legend of the NeverBeast

We picked up it yesterday and watched it last night. I think both the DW and I had weepy eyes by the end. Great movie. Didn't know it was the last one they're doing. I think they did a great job though.

    Disney Visa---worth it??

I had my Debit Card number compromised a few years back and it resulted in every dollar in my checking account to be frozen cause they managed to drop my balance to nearly $-5,000. I wasn't responsible for any of the fraudulent charges but because of how every transaction rolled into the...

    Disney Visa---worth it??

If looking to get a rewards card, make sure to check out what else out there. We had a Disney Visa and eventually switched to a Capital One Venture to earn 2% on everything and rewards that can be used for anything travel related. But we also charge literally everything we can and then pay it...
