News New sponsor coming to Walt Disney World's Splash Mountain

You forgot Monster energy drinks for the Hall of Presidents and Icy Hot athletic cream for Space Mountain. And before anyone throws rotten garbage at me for the HoP comment, I actually love that show, but I know many people only go in to take naps or rest lol

WDW Food Pictures Of The Day Part II

20? Good god, and I thought I had a ton with 13!!! Which ones are you going to? That's pretty exciting!

    Which hotel with little ones?

Oh, I have no problem answering as this is a topic I find a lot of fun to discuss! No resentment at all from me that my parents picked the Poly. I loved it so much that I have only stayed there on all my subsequent DW vacations. It by far is my favorite resort. I've even turned down free...

    Which hotel with little ones?

I don't have kids - BUT! - as a kid I loved staying at the Poly and visiting the Contemporary. I think I would have also liked Animal Kingdom Lodge and the All-Stars and Art of Animation as a kid as well had they been around back then. Fort Wilderness or Wilderness Lodge may have also been fun...

    FOP sick bag

I love Mission: SPACE, but that would really make me think twice about going back on it again for a while if someone tossed their cookies mid-flight!

    F&W 2018 menus

When do they usually release the menus for F&W? I've never really paid close attention as to when they do.

    Best Longhouse in Poly?

Fiji is my personal fav. Before the DVC conversions, Tokelau (formerly Oahu) was my favorite longhouse. I have yet to stay in Rarotonga (Maui), but I imagine the north facing rooms in that building would be great, too.

News Liberty Square Riverboat closing for long refurb

I knew someone on here had the right info. Thanks for the update, Captain!

News Liberty Square Riverboat closing for long refurb

I don't think so. I thought somebody on here had already spoken to a CM or 2 and confirmed the boiler or some other part that was being replaced/refurbed on the ship was taking longer than expected. Also, I thought they had said it was requiring divers to go into the river at night to do some...

    What do you do

I always get new ones. I have done split stays twice now and also liked picking different colors for each set so that we had variety and options lol I kind of like have a brand new "fresh" set when I go.

    Hate for childless Disney fans

LoL So I had no idea f ann y was even a bad word in the UK until now. It's a pretty harmless word here in the states. No more offensive than rump, backside, bum, derriere, rear or posterior. Obviously it has a different slang meaning overseas, though.

    FOP sick bag

As someone who gets motion sickness sometimes, that is actually the absolute worst thing for me to do. Keeping my eyes open and my head up and focusing on what is on front of me is what keeps me feeling better. If I ever do get car sick or motion sickness, the moment I look down, turn away or...

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

Guardians will still happen at EPCOT, as much as the people who aren't fans of the project are hoping it won't. James Gunn did not create the characters or the stories, he only directed 2 movies utilizing a property that had been established before Disney even obtained the rights to make the...

Best park for a rainy day?

I will say when I went last year I was fortunate enough to go on the safari before a big thunderstorm cell started moving into the DW area. It was just a light rain and cloud cover at the time of the excursion, but all of the animals were out. It was the best experience I ever had on the safari...

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

That looks like it's loads of fun! I have not been on either, but just watching YT videos, both coasters have almost exactly 1:00 minute of ride time between launch and entry to the station. Maybe because TRON is in the dark and it is hard to see what is going on, but the outdoor one seemed like...

Which upcoming Walt Disney World attraction are you most excited for?

I voted Galaxy's Edge since I have been a Star Wars fanboy my whole life. But honestly, i am looking forward to all of them with varying degrees of geeky excitement! If I had to rate my level of enthusiasm and excitement for each one on a scale of 1 - 10, I'd rate 'em: Star Wars Galaxy's Edge...

    Hate for childless Disney fans

I've never encountered any "hate" so much as I have seen confusion, shock or surprise, or some sort of fascination - and only by people I actually know and not strangers or other guests in the parks. I don't have kids myself, but have been to WDW a few times with an ex-GF as well as going with...
