Park hours/restaurant hours conflicting on DW site

Ahhhh. Thanks! I don't think I knew they allowed ADRs after park closing time I guess. The fact that they are taking reservations at 8:45p on a night that the park closes at 8:30p seemed odd to me, but then I am used to going when the parks close at 9:30 or 10p, too. Is that normal for DW...

News Space 220 Restaurant dining experience at Epcot's Future World

Is it really that bad? Lol I always hear negative reviews about that place, but then have also recently read a couple of surprisingly positive reviews. Admittedly, I don't think I probably will eat there until I have tried every other TS location at Epcot first.

    Dining Reservations set...but......

This. If you are persistent though, you will score or secure the time you want or one close to it. Just be diligent and try every single day if those ADR times are important to you. I managed to snag my BoG 8AM bfast using the Touring Plans Reservation Finder. I originally had booked a 9:15AM...

    Crazy WDW stories....let's hear 'em!

It's a small world after all isn't it? lol I went from feeling anger and sympathy once I started reading your story to pure laughter by the end! That's pretty funny and crazy that those demon twins popped up again! Was one of their names by any chance Damien? :p:joyfull: And I would have done...

Park hours/restaurant hours conflicting on DW site

Just noticed this while trying to move around some ADRs in early Sep, but the restaurant hours for the DHS locations are listed as 9 or 9:30p, depending on which day you look. But then the park hours for the Studios are only listed as being til 8:30 or 9p. I thought this was odd, but maybe it's...

Sadly, it does happen. Jack Cassidy died in that same manner many years ago.

Navi River Journey - What is the story?

I agree, I still don't understand all the hate that Under the Sea gets. I'd much rather experience those two over Navi River. I guess I would put it like this, as someone who has been on all three attractions at least 2 times, if I went on a trip to WDW and didn't get to go on the Little Mermaid...

    September Surprise! Need some reassurance...

Using TouringPlans statistics and info, here are what the avg crowds (scale of 1 - 10, 1 being empty, 10 being insanely packed) were per month last year and up thru yesterday for this year: 2017 5.70 - January 6.00 - February 7.55 - March 7.13 - April 6.50 - May 6.77 - June 6.65 - July 6.48 -...

News Liberty Square Riverboat closing for long refurb

Disney finally updated their site, so it now shows the Liberty Belle coming back on Sep 30th. Took 'em long enough to update it. Sheeesh! :joyfull: I was prepared for it to be closed in Sep, so I am not too disappointed I guess. Glad I went on last summer!

Navi River Journey - What is the story?

Yeah, that is probably my biggest issue with it for sure - it's about 3-4 minutes too short. A few more scenes and maybe 2 or 3 AAs instead of just one single AA would have made it fairly good instead of just alright or okay. It would have been cool to see a couple of the animals/creatures done...

Navi River Journey - What is the story?

Yeah, I don't see lack of thrills as being a negative, either. Many of Disney's greatest attractions do not/or did not have any thrills. I definitely 100% disagree with all three of your examples though that you gave - they actually all have detailed stories or concepts that the Imagineers...

Navi River Journey - What is the story?

Yeah, basically a relaxing boat ride in the dark that takes you into a dark, blacklit and glowing jungle from another world that is full of weird creatures and bugs. Capped off with a giant blue alien shamen singing in another alien language. There is no real story at all. Personally, I think...

What Disney resort/park food did you like so much, that you made it at home?

Awww, that's too bad. But also good to know. It's always a bummer when you try to replicate a recipe, and for whatever reason, it doesn't turn out as you had hoped or planned. It's happened to all of us, I'm sure lol I may try taking a crack at it at some point, but will definitely not use...

Missing the last raft from Tom Sawyer Island...

Yeah, I agree it seems almost impossible. But who knows, maybe the older brother was a god-awful swimmer? Maybe he panicked and didn't actually even know how to swim himself? Or maybe he was not an experienced swimmer and freaked out once he got in the water and froze up (not physically, but...

Suggestions for first trip to Food and Wine fest?

Another fun thing to do while in World Showcase and enjoying the Food & Wine Festival is looking for Remy with the Hide n Squeak scavenger hunt. You don't have to do get the guide and pay for the hunt if you don't want to. My GF and I just went looking for him on our own. And even though we...
