I had an AP and a resort reservation and I couldn't use FP+, well at least not that i was aware of.

We were staying at CS and no one even mentioned a band to us. Since we are still unsure about the MM+ we didn't ask. We even did the online check in a month prior to see if we would get bands.

We were there the 12-17 and did not get the magic bands and were a little screwed with a lot of FP. I saw someone post that we could have used our APs, but no one told us about that nor did we see it mentioned anywhere so we had no idea.

We were there last Sunday (10/13) and when we got to the park the FP time for TSMM was 3:20. Later while waiting in line I asked someone with a magic band what she thought of the bands and she mentioned the TSMM FP being gone and seemed to think it was due to FP+. For those dying to know this...

Oh wow, I just realized I forgot to throw White Castle into the mix for great burgers! i know I know, but I do love them and have not had one in a few years. We have the cheap imitation Krystal in Florida. Finally had Red Robin a couple of months ago - quite tasty. Now I will try to catch up...

No comparison, I don't think I've ever eaten at a Whataburger in Pensacola, I was just commenting that it's still going strong in Tallahassee too. We rarely leave Santa Rosa Island while in Pensacola. Man it's been too long since we've been there (3ish years :()

We all loved Tangled. My daughter likes Tangled way more than Brave, but only like Rapunzel a little more than Merida FWIW. I like both CGI and hand drawn animation, but there is something about most CGI that just looks off to me. I want to say fake, but I'm not sure that's the right word...

and Tallahassee! Whataburger and Five Guys are the only fast food burgers I will eat. I have not yet had the privilege of In and Out. Is there one in Florida?

Saw MU, the whole family really liked it. I liked Titanic the first time is saw it, now I just find it comical. I do still watch it when it's on tv though if I'm not watching anything else.

That's awesome, I love that idea. Up north (NJ) schools don't start until after labor day, but down here in FL they start the last week of August. We actually discussed home schooling for like 2 mins until we realized neither one of us is actually home all day :cool: We'll make it work...

At least here parents have told me that the school will actually fail you if you miss too many days,so for them it is more about that than the kids being behind. My daughter doesn't start "real" school until the fall so I have no first hand knowledge of this yet. I personally think that policy...

To kind of piggy back on this. Who is explaining all of this stuff to the first timers? I imagine there are a lot of folks that just call and say I want to book a trip and the CM books them the most expensive vacation possible giving the person as little info as possible. What if i want to...

This is what I am wondering too. I like @ParentsOf4 strategy, but if there are FP+ available when the park opens then this strategy may either be a bust or not as effective as it previously was.

@Goofyernmost We always go through the interactive queue because of DD and it's always awkward when folks wait behind us. We always tell them they can pass, but some don't so then we end up rushing because we feel bad. I can just see this scenario playing out 100 times per day and who knows...

DD4 loves the HM interactive queue. That being said we still go through it in about 5 mins; I can't imagine being stuck in that queue for 20 mins or longer! Our days visiting HM might be numbered as we don't want to waste a FP on HM; there are way too many other rides in MK to FP.

I voted for Villans land, but i was torn between that one and a real Pixar Place
