How is late March/early April looking for 2014?

Spring Break season ends that last weekend in March. So from there until the weekend before Easter should be more moderate crowds.

Fear of Over-Planning, what did I forget?

First suggestion - breathe. ;) Sounds like you have a great handle on things. And you're in the right place, plenty of people to help with any questions you might come up with.

2 adults, no kids: How long for midday break?

We're day and weekend trippers now since we live in Tampa. We generally take a break even on day trips and head to a resort to cool off and have lunch. When we vacationed from Pennsylvania though, we generally went all day. Something about cramming in as much magic as we could. :) Ultimately...

2 adults, no kids: How long for midday break?

I think two hours will be cutting your nap/swim time a little short. I would personally budget more like 3 hours gate-to-gate for a quick swim or nap in the afternoon. If you figure on average 30 minutes from the time you leave the park to the time you arrive back at your room and reverse...

Enchanted Tiki Room closing for month long refurbishment

With the line up of attraction in the fall they are refurbishing, including the railroad and Peter Pan, it makes sense to do this one at a different time than those. Come mid August the busy summer season ends, so part of the refurb is outside of that timeframe.

Refrigerators being temporarily removed from all rooms

That seems to be what they were doing up front to let those guests who are already there know what's up. Outside of the notice sent to travel agents yesterday (and the subsequent q & a on their site), what future contact is to be made with clients I believe is yet to be determined by what they...

Refrigerators being temporarily removed from all rooms

Previously it generally was. But this issue with all of the standard mini-fridges being taken out is going to end up causing problems.

PIN- not for our dates Ouch!

Only you can determine if the price of the vacation you have booked is something you can both afford and find the value in. No one on the boards can make that call for you. If you are able to adjust your travel dates, then I would say go for it to save the money.

Refrigerators being temporarily removed from all rooms

Disney is saying that medical requests will be given first priority, but are not guaranteed. Since that person is travelling at the end of November, it is more likely they will have enough units to at least cover medical needs by that point. But in the meantime, it's important to note it's...

Refrigerators being temporarily removed from all rooms

Probably. But to crate, load, ship, unload and deliver isn't an overnight process.

Refrigerators being temporarily removed from all rooms

It's a huge number of appliances to need all of a sudden. Keep in mind this not only affects all standard rooms at Disney World, but also Disneyland and Aulani. That's a huge number of mini-fridges to all of a sudden need. And I'm sure they need to be a particular size, etc. I doubt any...

Refrigerators being temporarily removed from all rooms

Not clear if they will be contacting future reservations or not at this point. Which is why I created the thread for anyone here to have the heads up. According to Disney, they were notifying guests with a letter in the room at this point.

I went back and edited the original post to include the additional information available at this point, taken directly from Disney.

Refrigerators being temporarily removed from all rooms

See my post above. Unfortunately at this point, the details are still fluid, and not all of the information may be making it to everyone at the resorts at this point.

Refrigerators being temporarily removed from all rooms

What he said! :D Right now, the central information we're getting there is likely the best information available, as it will take awhile to get everyone at all the levels of each resort up to speed on the issue.

Refrigerators being temporarily removed from all rooms

All of the family suites at AoA are ok, however the standard rooms (Little Mermaid) are affected.
