    Water cup change??

Agreed, and it's Florida! Disney would rather people stay hydrated then pass out or get heat stroke.

    Shoes at the Water Park

Barefoot all the way, but I'm a Floridian and I live barefoot or in flip flops year round.

WDW Taking a Hit Over Gator and Massacre ...

Did you read the report? The father in his witness statement estimated 5-6 feet but unsure because most of it was underwater. The 2 closest gators were females and both 7 feet long, and one of those 2 are believed to be the one. Gators are known to stay near their prey, these 2 had empty...

WDW Taking a Hit Over Gator and Massacre ...

That could be true. I loathe going to the beach nowadays because the sea gulls swarm you and take food right out of your hand they get fed so much.

WDW Taking a Hit Over Gator and Massacre ...

As a former watercraft cm, alligators loved to hang out by the wedding pavilion in 2005/2006 when I worked there. It was quiet and away from most boat traffic. So them being near the GF isn't new. Also just because a guest reported a gator, unless it was a nuisance and over 4 feet then...

WDW Taking a Hit Over Gator and Massacre ...

As a native Floridian, gators are part of life in the south and are not an issue unless messed with, fed, or you get in the way of them hunting. Ya'll would be surprised how many are around that you don't see unless you know what to look for. There are also laws about them and Disney can't...

    Clearwater.....food!

This is Frenchy's south beach. One of 5! Rockaway is on North Beach and has the best views. It's also quieter on North Beach.

    School Projects at WDW

This is only partly true. The biggest issue I see nowadays is teachers' jobs and pay raises are directly reflective of their students performance. If a student is not in school they miss quite a bit and then often perform poorly. Being in school for only 180 days, just missing a handful adds...

    Chef art smiths homecoming :)

I posted about my experience in another thread about this. It was REALLY good! The hush puppies were amazing. It just hurt the pocketbook quite a bit.

Walkway to nowhere from Magic Kingdom Towards Grand Floridian - Why?

As a former watercraft cm I can confirm that the Liberty Bell does indeed use the canal and is towed over the water bridge and to the boat maintenance facilty in the back of Bay lake where all the ferry boats and MK resort boats park. Now this is only done every few years but I did witness it...

'Homecoming - Florida Kitchen and Southern Shine' coming to Disney Springs Summer 2016

We had the pleasure of eating here last night. Everything was amazing! Wife got the fried chicken sandwich which was super yummy. I got the bbq pork plate which was good and was accompanied by some perfect mac and cheese. The best part of the meal was the pimento cheese hush puppies. They...

WDW Taking a Hit Over Gator and Massacre ...

They are in every single body of water in FL, even the beaches. It's because of the warm water temps, not pollution. It's been around as long as I can remember. Also not a unique Disney problem.

WDW Taking a Hit Over Gator and Massacre ...

I'm really getting tired of people saying the lake is polluted. Here is an article from the Orlando Sentinel http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/2003-06-08/news/0306070124_1_lake-water-florida-lakes-major-lakes "Most of our Central Florida lakes are dark, tea colored. The water is stained...

    Scammers in the parks

I completely understand this, however, both my kids were always on the border and would often measure fine at the entrance but then when they got remeausred at the ride they wouldn't hit the mark and it's frustrating to wait all that time thinking you can ride and now you've wasted time, and...

From the OS: Gator drags child into Seven Seas Lagoon

From the OS: Gator drags child into Seven Seas Lagoon

As I mentioned to you earlier most lakes in Florida have Sandy Shores that resemble a beach. Most state parks even have a swimming area at the Sandy Beach. Seven Seas Lagoon is not unique it resembles a lot of natural Florida.

From the OS: Gator drags child into Seven Seas Lagoon

I've lived in FL my entire life. Gators have always been here, and they aren't a problem today and weren't then either. I didn't read anything on youtube I was pointing out that the gator videos were not from this week, or even year. They are from 10 years ago!
