Now that indoor masking is back are you cancelling your next trip?

Nope. I have two trips planned and paid for in December this year and June 2022. We went three times (opening in July 2020, December 2020, and June 2021) since masks were required and had no problems. We're all vaccinated too, but I have been wearing a mask while out and about even though the...

Disney World Rain Queue Stoppage? (Angry)

Something similar happened to me during one of my rides on the Rise of the Resistance this past June. It was pouring, so they ushered us all to be under an overhang before we entered the ship. It was still pouring when we were getting off the ride. I think the castmembers were prepared for...

Long stay- split or same room?

We have stayed for 14 nights for the last few years during our June trips and both were split stays (Poly & AKL-Jambo and CCV & BWV). This was mainly due to not finding a DVC owner with enough points available to book a continuous stay at one resort as well as due to availability. We liked the...

Day of week for each park? Help needed!

In the past, avoiding MK on Monday was always recommended since that is often people's first park day and a lot want to go to MK first. I would avoid HWS on weekends. I have no scientific data on that---only personal experience that the park seems a lot busier on weekends (tbh, it always seems...

    Modify dates for park tickets?

In the past, I was able to move my tickets as far into the future as the schedule was open. I looked for the furthest date that did not require an additional amount.

Want to go from Beach Club Resort to Wilderness Lodge

Several options. Two easiest: 1. Take an uber or lyft (quickest). 2. Take a bus from BC to MK and then a boat to WL (more time-consuming).

Adults ordering from the kids menu

I have. Sometimes I am just not hungry or was not feeling well and instead of not ordering anything and sitting there while the rest of my family eats, I just get a kids entree. To be honest, I have only done this at two restaurants--Skipper Canteen and Sanaa. At Skipper Canteen, I did not...

    'Ohana dessert to go?

I recently read some reviews and the dessert is the not same as it once was. Check out the reviews to see if you still want it.

    Resort Refillable Mugs Status?

At the Wilderness Lodge in June, it was self-fill and no chip reader. At the Boardwalk in June as well, no chips being read and a CM filled paper cups instead. The CM just needed to see your cup.

    Boardwalk shopping and restaurants

You can make a dinner reservation at the Beach or Yacht Club and walk over as well.

Be Our Guest or Skipper Canteen for dinner?

I have been to Skipper Canteen every year since it opened. It has always been a "must do" during our trips. I really liked the first incarnation of the steak entree with the yucca fries and chimichurri (I guess I was one of the only ones who did). I am not the fondest of the steak entree they...

    Scooter Rental Question

Yes. It came with two batteries, so about 12 hours. My dad never had to use the second one though. Also, they not only drop off and pick up at the resort, but they are the only vendor authorized to drop off and pick up with bell services and do not require the renter to be there during the...

    Scooter Rental Question

We used Scooter Bug in June for my dad. We chose the one that comes apart that can easily be transported in the vehicle. He had no problems with it and the bonus of going with this company is that they drop off and pick up at a Disney resort.

    Ohana Has Hit Rock Bottom

I might be willing to go to O'hana for breakfast though. I was just posting on the BOG thread and realized that an entree there was about $30 with a beverage. $25/adult doesn't seem too bad and I like Mickey waffles and the juice they serve.

Be Our Guest or Skipper Canteen for dinner?

I have a feeling that that lunch will not go back to QS even if they decide to open for a QS breakfast. They are able to fill the restaurant during lunch and charge three times the amount of an average QS lunch. Breakfast was about $30/adult with a beverage, so that is also an easy moneymaker...

Kitchen Sink experience back to normal?

I didn't see it either in June. They didn't have the Beach Club souvenir mason jar with the specialty milkshakes either, which is what I was after.

    Annual Pass Benefits Wish List

I used to get into Hersheypark for free since I was a houseparent. I loved getting paid to go to an amusement park or a Hershey Bears game or a concert.

    Ohana Has Hit Rock Bottom

I didn't realize they changed the menu. I love chimichurri. However, when I ate at Jungle Canteen last month, I noticed that they changed the chimichurri recipe and I didn't care for it. Sadly, Ohana is a no go for us now.

Be Our Guest or Skipper Canteen for dinner?

I like Skipper Canteen, but have never eaten at BOG dinner because I am not interested in the food offered nor want to pay that much for a dinner. SK's steak and also the sustainable fish (if it is swordfish) entrees are good. I used to really like their steak salad.

    Parent swap changes...

I made a mistake of reading the article's comments. Already, some guy is thinking his family will get special treatment due to his son's disability and will be able to work around the new procedure. He should just get his son a DAS if he qualifies.
