    Lightroom tips and tricks

the most over looked one i see is when you go to Spot Removal, most people don't notice the checkbox for Visualize Spots which makes it unbelievably more simple to remove sensor dust

    2015 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

That makes sense. If I was going with other APs, I'd do that but I don't want to make anyone feel rushed (since they don't have passes) about making a fastpass within 30mins of being able to get in, but that's really helpful info.

    2015 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

So my friends have the ability to make fastpass reservations but they can only get 2, a 4-5 and a 5-6. It doesn't let a 3rd to get reserved for the 6-7 hour.

    MeFoto experiences

Even if you go mirrorless and have not as large lenses, the weight bearing also means it is much sturdier. Not saying they are flimsy by any means but something that supports 25lbs is going to more balanced and able to hold itself better than something that supports 8lbs.

    MeFoto experiences

Personally, I have the MeFoto globetrotter but I use a Manfrotto 496RC2 Compact Ball Head. Looking at the Backpacker, 51" max height is nothing. You generally want at least 60" for max height because once you mount the camera then it's a bit more eye level. Having to bend down for every shot...

    2015 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Right, but when they take away, imo, the best viewing spot that's when it irks me. If it didn't have the reserved spot then I'd be fine with others wasting their money on this.

    2015 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Because as an AP I am already spending $900 on passes, then $150 (i pay for 2 passes) for this event and they want another $150 for cupcakes and a essentially a fastpass+ viewing of the parade and fireworks. It's a tad ridiculous and I almost never complain because most of the time I can...

Company Wants to Use my Photo-Watermark?

Sports are a lot tougher. Usually you work for a publication like a newspaper or magazine and are contracted on a game to game basis since most places have gotten rid of staff photographers. Or you can be part of AP or Getty. I thought someone on here was a sports photographer but I could be...

Company Wants to Use my Photo-Watermark?

$250 is generally the norm if they are using it to promote something. I'd probably approach the conversation with two options: 1) it can be had with no watermark and just a small blurb of photo credit for say $250 or 2) It'll be watermarked and cannot be removed for free (or you can say like...

Company Wants to Use my Photo-Watermark?

You probably want to ask them about if it should/shouldnt have a watermark. Usually if a company is going to use it, you give them a single license/usage for the image and whatever fee you feel is appropriate. And typically if they are paying, it shouldn't be watermarked and they may just say...
