    Because I'm a Scaredy Cat...

I LOVE EE ... but yes, be prepared that your stomach will be in your throat at some points during the ride, and it's pretty intense. BTMR is a pretty light coaster but it makes me sick (I find it's uneven and choppy) -- EE is MUCH smoother in my opinion. I think you should try it, because then...

    Will they ever remake Spectromagic?

It's in my nature to never let things go, so I probably won't be able to get over SpectroMagic. It was my favourite parade -- the music, to me, is so quintessentially Disney and I think MSEP is a crashing bore. :p

Trip Report *FINISHED* The "How did all these people get in here?" That's what she said Trip Report

I love this TR an inappropriate amount. We went last October and it was so busy that there was a 35 minute wait for the TTA at one point. I thought I was hallucinating.

Part of 2015 Is Out Tomorrow!

Maybe you're right... it must be the Fantasy. Although I checked a 7 night out for maybe Oct in 2014 and I think it was $1,000 a night or so? Now it's $2,000 a night. ARGH!!!! Anyway, I think we'll stick with 4 nights on the Dream from now on, haha.

Part of 2015 Is Out Tomorrow!

Ha, that's true. I tried February, which is when we usually cruise. The 1 bedroom was at least $10,000 more than we normally see it on for.

Part of 2015 Is Out Tomorrow!

I realize that - but we've gone concierge before on the new ships for MUCH less than that. I think the prices are inflated.

Part of 2015 Is Out Tomorrow!

Geez, I just checked a 7-night East Caribbean cruise on the Fantasy -- we like going concierge but even the 1-bedroom suite was $16,700 or something insane like that. The Royal was almost $30,000. I just can't believe that.

New seasonal cupcakes at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Does anyone know (yes, these are the kinds of questions that consume me, night and day) if the peanut butter cupcake is still available at Main Street Bakery during the holiday season? Or do they get rid of the staple cupcakes for the seasonal ones? I have NEVER had the damn thing and all I...

What are you paying for your airfare?

We're Canadian so last Oct we paid $1,250 to fly out of Halifax to MCO, stopping in Toronto. Gotta love those Air Canada prices. But we've since moved to Ontario, so this Feb, we're flying out of Detroit on Spirit for maybe $600 or something? We upgraded to the bigger seats so it was...

    Davy Jones effect gone?

I'm pretty sure I saw Black Beard on it last Oct too... and the mermaids/song were working. It was awesome and reminded me of how much I love when Disney gets it right. :inlove:

    Davy Jones effect gone?

Hope it works before our trip in Dec... the mermaids and their song are my favourite part of the ride. It's so haunting and beautiful.

Ever seen someone famous while at wdw?

When I worked in Canada, we served Ice-T and he was fine - the woman he was with wasn't wearing what I would call 'clothes' so it was faintly awkward. We also saw Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner - they acted very, very normal and didn't have an entourage - just them and their kids. I only...

    Disney Springs is what?

I still call it MGM, so I have no doubt I'll forget and call it Downtown Disney for now and all eternity.

    I <3 Disney Cruise Line

Yes, yes! I love DCL so much. Everything about our cruise last year was perfect. I can't wait to go again in February.

shorter list of disney restaurants we'd like to try

I can't comment on a lot of those (although I have heard Rose & Crown is good and we're trying it this December) but definitely keep Via Napoli (ahhh their pizzas are AMAZING), Tusker House, Hollywood Brown Derby and Sci-Fi. I'm not a huge fan of Chef Mickey's but that's because I don't really...

Disney Offers A Park All To Yourself..

That's a tough one! Either Epcot during Food & Wine (not waiting in line would be delicious), or MK at night during the holidays. There's just something about the Magic Kingdom... I never really feel like I'm at Disney until I see the castle.

Is Thanksgiving Day Complete Insanity at the MK?

From when I worked there in 2006, in a word, yes. I expect it's even more crowded now.
