Space Mountain Complete with Green Screen Effect

I agree that its better than it was, but it should never have been allowed to get to where it was to begin with. For a centerpiece of the park, it is still a shame of an experience compared to all the other Space Mountains. It really does need to go down again at some point and get an actual...

Disney, Marvel & Universal's Tangled Web

Apples and Oranges. Pixar was essentially what Disney used to be. In fact most people just always assumed Pixar was Disney. They have always been that connected, at least publicly. Marvel on the other hand is a different beast. I'm no fan of comics, but I have lots of friends who are, and...

Space Mountain Complete with Green Screen Effect

For some people that's probably true. If you're coming from up North somewhere, a flight o Anaheim probably isn't that much more expensive than a flight to Orlando. However, I live just a few hours from Orlando. I can drive there, I'd have to fly to Anaheim, so the difference is quite striking.

Monorail beam cleaning in Epcot - looks fantastic

IMO, the only thing that SSE needs is a very subtle, color changing, exterior lighting. Its a beautiful structure like it is, but allowing it to slowly change from silver to blue to purple to red, etc... would be fantastic.

Space Mountain Complete with Green Screen Effect

Why do people always say this. Its not like DL's space mountain is right next door. Going to Anaheim is not an option. I much prefer what they've done in Tokyo to anything they've done here. Am I not allowed to say that because I could just go to Tokyo instead of WDW? That's a silly saying...

Disney, Marvel & Universal's Tangled Web

IOA's contract isn't going to expire any time soon. You don't spend that much money on something that you just have to rip out after a few years. Its a long term contract. As to the other conversation about putting Disney in front of Marvel it would definitely tick off a lot of Marvel fans...

Disney, Marvel & Universal's Tangled Web

Bingo. IOA's Superhero Island is very popular still so they don't want to get rid of it. Even if they could, knowing that Disney would then snap up these profitable characters and use them to compete against them is enough to keep it there as long as they can. They'll prefer to dance with...

Space Mountain Complete with Green Screen Effect

Now that the screens are in place maybe they can finally get something done in the TTA pass through Space Mountain.

Monorail beam cleaning in Epcot - looks fantastic

Definitely too big of a job to do once a month, but I think a yearly cleaning (at least of the parts that are visible in the main guest areas).

Monorail beam cleaning in Epcot - looks fantastic

Thank goodness. The last time I was in Epcot I couldn't help but notice how disgusting they were. They don't need to be washed every day, but a once a year cleaning isn't too much to ask.

Admit it...Things you have NEVER done in Disney *gasp*

There's a lot of things. I'll break it down by park. MK: - Ridden the train (although we'll probably do that when we go with my son this year since he loves trains). - Been to Tom Sawyer Island - Seen Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor Epcot: Not much here, but there are a few new things I haven't...

Did you enjoy Walt Disney World better as a kid or an adult?

I definitely enjoyed it more as a kid. It truly was a magical place and I'll never be able to relive those emotions again. I really wish I could go back and time and visit it through my more innocent eyes of childhood. I still greatly appreciate everything about it and love it, but I'll never...

    O'Sentinel - NextGen - 1/17/10

This better blow me away is all I have to say. For 1 billion dollars I have faith that it will. That said, without being able to envision anything with this technology that can really blow me away, I'd much rather see that money getting put into the parks for new attractions.

    Backlot Tour Referb

I'd hate to see the attraction go away completely, but I would like to see it completely revamped. Were I in charge of DHS, it would become the backlot special effects tour. It would still begin in the water tank area, but it would be completely redone to be a water stunt/special effects...

    Simon Cowell leaving American Idol

While I wouldn't mind having Phineas and Ferb in the parks somewhere, they don't need to be in that theater. That's a cornerstone location and it deserves something that everyone can enjoy.

    Simon Cowell leaving American Idol

For the tv version of Idol, I think they'll try to keep it on the air for a few more years, but Simon was the reason that show worked. Without him its done. That certainly doesn't mean that its over for the theme park show however. How long did millionaire go on after it was done on tv? I...

WDW: FLA residents $25 a day!

Is it something you have to use within 7 days of first use like many passes are, or does it allow you to use one day one month, another on another, etc... If so I might grab it and just make several weekend trips over the next few months.
