I beg to differ with that. We got a Tron wannabe ride and all the cool stuff like the heat and cool rooms removed. I think the argument could be made the original Test Track theming and ride were better. The whole create a car thing is boring and old.

Why is that absurd? You are in effect testing their park. You get in free. they could have given out promo passes or such and allowed certain numbers in daily to test capacity. At the very least charge at least half the normal rate if you must. And no, they didn't do that and we see what happened.

I feel all of this could have been resolved with a month of AP testing and "free" soft openings to regular guests. To ram and cram it all in just to be open Memorial Day or to beat Pandora was silliness. That park should probably still not be open yet today.

By simply making two essentially FP lines. One for VQ and one for FP. They could toy woth the Jimmy Fallon method of a room with chairs etc and waiting for your turn to be called into the ride or they could make two ques of FP size length.
