Uhm... :veryconfu As for it being a Splash Mountain-esque attraction, no. I don't think it should ever be a thrill ride of sorts. It should be/have been a classic ride everyone can enjoy. I never personally rode on the original, but I've seen enough videos and miscellaneous site dedications...

Perhaps one day, but right now it does not seem very likely. I would like to see a good, high quality refurbishment of this ride as well, but not until The Country Bears do... :x

I know that it is. I'm just surprised to hear that it is actually being worked on. The only way I ever imagined them getting around to fixing "Disco Yeti" was if they were to do an extensive refurbishment on the whole attraction, which I do not see happening for quite some time. Perhaps...

From my understanding, the Yeti sort of threw out its back one day... would fixing its back really only take a matter of months? I would have thought they'd have to close down the whole ride to properly fix it.

The Haunted Mansion and Splash Mountain will always be favorites of mine. You guys will probably shoot me for saying this, but... Ellen's Energy Adventure is always the first ride I go on when I visit Epcot. Not only do I find Ellen DeGeneres hilarious, but Bill Nye the Science Guy brings back...
