    Proposing Sept 8th in WDW

I highly reccomend it, you have the whole balcony to yourself and a private server who is very attentive without being intrusive. It was a night I will always remember, don't worry it will be great !! And PERFECT for a proposal !!!

New after hours street party coming to this year's Epcot Food and Festival

I have to agree with a previous poster, this will definately impact the guests staying at Beach/Yacht/Boardwalk. Especially if there is a DJ. We were at Yacht Club once when they had a party at Typhoon Lagoon with a DJ and we could hear it very clearly, kept us up very late. I love the F&W...

    Proposing Sept 8th in WDW

Are you having the private dinner on the balcony ??? My husband suprised me with that for our 10th Anniversary and they did a great job. The food was excellent, the table and floor were covered in rose petals, and the best was the great view to watch the fireworks. It was wondeful !!

    Halloween costumes at California Grill

I would NEVER wear an inappropriate costume (scary or otherwise) anywhere in Disney. And I would never "act out" or get "s***faced" in any restaurant, whether in costume or not.

    Halloween costumes at California Grill

Sorry to ruffle so many feathers, I was just stating the response we had when we did it. And I know we did call the restaurant before we went and were told it was common during MNSSHP. Again, sorry....

    Halloween costumes at California Grill

As long as your costume is in good taste, I see no problem. How is your being in costume affecting other diners. People were cheering us and seemed impressed with our costumes, we put a lot of effort into it. I have seen many people in costume there during the MNSSHP and it does not bother me...

    Halloween costumes at California Grill

Me and my husband dined at California Grill with my sister-in-law and her husband and we were all dressed as pirates for the MNSSHP. It is kind of expected there -no big deal. Have fun and don't feel funny at all.

    Girly question: what to wear?

I have at least ten dresses from Athleta and they are the best for WDW, money well spent. They are well made and very easy to care for, no wrinkles and always look nice. So comfortble, and most have built in bra so no need to wear one. I usually check the website at the end of the year and...

    Deluxe Hotels

I agree Bethymouse, why not just charge a reasonable rate and stop with all the Pin Codes and AP rates and Visa Rates and General Public rates and such, it's a farce. You think you are getting a "deal" but you're not really. It's aggravating.

    Deluxe Hotels

I have stayed at all the moderates, and they are great, but we spend most of our time at Epcot and the convenience walking there as well as to all the restaurants etc. around the Boardwalk Area is just to great. I just feel Disney is upping their prices so much and then giving you a "discount...

    Deluxe Hotels

The prices at the deluxe hotels have gotten ridiculous over the past few years. We are currently booked at the Yacht Club in a Lagoon View Room for 12 nights at an AP 30% off rate. The total with discount (room only) is $4,501.00. Just for kicks I went to the Waldorf Astoria Orlando website...

    Free Dining September

Just saw this on another site: Great news! Free Dining will be offered for check-in dates 9/2 – 9/25 in September 2013! Currently this offer is only available for Disney Visa Cardholders, but we expect the offer to be available for the general public to book starting May 9th.

If You Could Make Just ONE Suggestion.......

Fire the entire Disney IT Department because the website is pathetic and virtually useless.

    Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland

For the cute Disney theme I would go with Winter/Summerland, if you are a real golf person you would like the Fairways - it is more like a actual golf course. I do find that there is more shade at Winter/Summerland where it can be brutal on a hot day at Fantasia.

    Raglan Road Suggestions

My husband and I always start with the Dalkey Duo as a shared appetizer (it's more than enough for two). My husband swears by the Bangers & Booze, its a mix of Bangers & Mash with Guiness Beef Stew. He LOVES it. If you go for lunch they have a fantastic Lobster Avocado Club Sandwich that I...
