Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

its hard to do direct comparisons, because the rides serve different purposes. think ToT is more fun than PM. Webs more fun than Buzz. SM would beat Flight force but the queue for FF is often 15 min or less, I'd take that over an hour for SM. Remy is a great dark ride, matching peter pan...

Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

i find myself spending a fair bit of time in WDSP. it doesn't have the 'magic' feel of the others because the theming and design are ill fitting and in places ugly, but the attraction list isn't far off the main park (especially when BTM or HSM are down, a lot recently) and more importantly the...

MAGICal DLP News, Rumours & Thoughts

the park is full quite often, the prices are high, i dont understand the need for this. i know merlin recently said their forward look prices are low, covid rebound is ending plus cost of living hitting family budgets, but right now i see no reason why disney have to cut corners.

    First Trip to DLP

park hopping is easy, as the parks are right next to each other, and gives you flexibility with crowds and such. if it's raining i always find studios better - just seems to have more indoor queues and stuff. over 3.5 days, unless it's easter or Christmas you won't need premier pass for...

    My First Solo Trip

bonbons are sweets, unless you mean the sweets that we actually call bonbons (like a chewy ball with a dusty sugar coating, usually white)

Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

isn't there supposed to be a parade route that starts between lion king and frozen? the right side of the lake looks barren, backing onto the backside of Cars road trip, but assuming that ride stays there is only really space for a path leading onto an expansion plot on either side. neither...

MAGICal DLP News, Rumours & Thoughts

there are nowhere near as many 'partner hotels' in Paris because Disney owns a lot more land than the other parks. staying onsite in a Disney hotel for a reasonable price is definitely a perk in DLP and another lakeside hotel is welcome. the other 2 are cheaper but there extra 5 mins walking...

I'd like to know if they paid anyone external for the idea to rename it all Adventure something

Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

i read in forbes or ft recently that the French government accusations that DLP is undercharging US parks for work (so that DLP makes less profit and pays less of the high french taxes) still hasnt been fully resolved, and Disney may have to settle in some places. turmoil in french politics...

News Disneyland Paris Pride Lands Lion King Ride

possibly there was a change of heart and not enough time to update the concept art for D23. would a hybrid work? on balance i prefer the animated original but there are pros and cons on each with cartoon animation vs realistic cgi. for me, realistic animals would work better from a distance...

Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

that new one (from the far side of the park) seems to show all the future expansion pods (based on where the paths go and where flat green land is left). if I'm reading it right, supposedly avatar will be in the corner adjacent to frozen and cars road trip (a bit hidden from the lake, which is...

Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

there was also a story that they were under investigation for how they reported their PNLs internationally (Paris losses offset other parks as France is a high tax country), so would be needing to react to that. also - whilst i fully agree DAW needs something and ive watched my girls go from...

MAGICal DLP News, Rumours & Thoughts

they trialled an earlier show time for the night time spectacular, i think without fireworks, a few weeks ago. i find it strange how despite a large spacious park and a large castle they need to wait until closing Fantasyland for the fireworks. per hour you probably still paid less than a US...

MAGICal DLP News, Rumours & Thoughts

I've only done Paris and the American ones but Paris is my favourite. Disney world is too big and busy, and California suffers from being cramped in. Every part metre square is concrete and has rides squeezed in. I miss the space and beauty of Paris, it's more important than most people...

    Disneyland paris 2025 trip

To bet honest the crying and wailing from the children at the side as we adults make our way through fantasia gardens does ruin the atmosphere a bit. Apart from Halloween where it is a big plus. Btw you need children so you can stay in the frozen suite, I see a win win solution here...

    May 2025

You can book the 10th May, 15th May and 23rd May. On other dates the park is closed. If you wish to walk around you have to help out e.g. pick up litter or repaint the attractions.
