I hope that once the new checkpoints are up and running they will then open back up the fenced in area/entrance to the MK that they fenced in after 9/11. It was so nice before when you could walk straight in to the turnstiles from the ferry boats.

They removed cabins from an entire loop at Fort Wilderness. Rumor is they're converting it back to a tent site. I have wondered if they were going to reuse those old cabins as the "new" cabins at Fort Wilderness. They're probably too small though.

I don't know the exact number of tickets sold but 24,000 seems low. Usually the tickets don't start selling out until closer to the date of the party.

Oh no! There was a survey around a while ago about silver/gold or whatever. I could be remembering incorrectly but they had most weekend days set as gold so if you ever wanted to go on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday you had to buy the gold pass. Hopefully they're going in another direction.

There used to be a lot of people on the beaches. That all went away when they stopped allowing swimming. When I was a kid the beaches were very lively.

Totally agree with this. I just took the kids to see Inside Out so saw those previews. I have no idea what either of those movies is supposed to be about. I want to want to see those movies but the previews were not good.
