Tried to get the set for 7 attractions today, but it wasn't available (or sold out). You could only buy one fastpass for seven dwarfs. The park opens at 7 am, so you gotta be early it seems to have a chance at this premier access thing...

Just rode buzz at SDL a few hours ago. I think this is the best shooting mechanism of all versions. I like that you can see the colour of who hit the target. It also looks less cardboard-like and it has some fun effects. What also surprised me: we rode it an hour before closing time and boy...

I'm currently at HKDL and checking out their Toy Story land. I liked the bamboo grasses that they used for the borders. It gives a much better look of giant grass. (Unlike the more regular bamboo they used in DLP). Maybe because of the climate? I hope they use this too in WDW. Btw: toy story...

We payed about 7500 Hong Kong dollars for 4 days (3 nights). This does not include the park entrance... ticket prices are about 1500 HKD for 2 adults and 1 child for 1 day)

Just arrived at HKDL and checked in at Explorers lodge hotel (beautifull!). So another park from the bucket list. Next week we go to Shanghai and Shanghai Disneyland. That will be the sixth and last park... then we'll have visited them all. (And can start over again :-) )

I think it's more about the shifting effect... How (In Spiderman) they squish and stretch the image while your car passes by to get a correct perspective/parallax effect. Forbidden Journey & Shanghai Pirates don't use that.

Last year when I was at WDW I actually timed how long it took to get from Studios to Epcot by boat. From the moment we left the Studios dock till we stopped at Epcot it was 27 minutes. So yeah, gondolas should definitely be faster.

How many 'towers' are usually (approximately) needed for such distances?

Will this new patio area with outdoor seating also have food/drink options? I read somewhere that there could be a new QS location opening there. (using the sci-fi diner kitchen) Any truth to that?

The only thing I wish they could adress is the way you can see the bottom of the screens... If they could somehow integrate the screens with decor elements, that would be a plus. Other than that, I think it's a nice fun ride. I also liked the 'rooftops' queue... I guess they will theme the...

Nothing... I was just Reading this thread when this came on the news. It was a weird coincidence and not something I was expecting. Doesn't chance the fact I 'm stil convinced of the safety and convenience of this kind of transportation. It's just you don't hear many accidents happening with these.

I'm ok with this.... I'm much more concerned about the current rumour floating around that they are gonna remove and replace the auction scene in DLP during the current refurbishment... I hope that's some fake news.

Interesting read and tips. We have also booked a trip to hong kong Disneyland and Shanghai Disneyland this august. I had originally booked Disney's Hollywood Hotel at HKDL, but I was able to switch to the just opened Explorer's Lodge. Really looking forward to visiting Shanghai Disneyland.

I like it, it looks great. The white makes it look bigger than it really is...and more relaxing... and no carpet, Yes!
