I read somewhere that your time also can vary from your family's/friend's... isn't there a way to link a group or family so you have about the same time to ride?

oh boy.... I just looked at the pictures submitted with the tripadvisor reviews... The first big picture I got was some girl's bruised/wounded chin?!? Really? And the other pictures are kiosks not working and wait times... and one picture that looks like a disaster happened in the lazy river...

I wonder if closing this loophole will have a real 'noticable' effect on available passes... maybe with the tourguides etc it was really getting out of hand.

Has a similar system already been used in another waterpark? Because I think a waterpark might not have been the best choice for this kinda system. Especially with these load-times/capacity.

Do they account for the time it takes to get to the ride you reserved? If people are busy eating or floating in the lazy river, I guess sometimes it could take some time before they would arrive at a ride. Would that have an impact on the system?

There won't be a direct bus route from the hotels (except Cabana Bay). You have to take a water taxi/bus to City walk and then take the shuttle to Volcano Bay

I think they will want to get the food court/shops part done as fast as they can... I heard somewhere that the food court might reopen June 2018... while the other construction (DVC etc..) goes on till 2019... But I could be wrong... anyone know more?

I went ahead and booked a room for CBR for the end of august 2018. I hope by then most of the quick-service/shop work will be done. If there's other construction still going on, I'm fine with that.

Wow.. so Rat in 2020? Is it because they wait to start construction or just because it goes slow? I remember that Rat in Paris took about 2 years to complete... and they had to build a whole 'land' and restaurant etc... which they could simplify in France Epcot, no? They could just add some sort...

I'm pretty sure it was more than just the video from 5 years ago... They could've have 'got him' much earlier... when he buys his annual passes or all the other times he was at Universal. They could've asked to take the videos down etc...So something propbably happened at the day when he got...

I had the exact same problem... We were also looking for our August 2018 trip (20 days). We have been to CBR 2 times now and really enjoyed it... but with the upcoming construction we started thinking of going to POR or POFQ. But then we realised we really really liked CBR. :) The rooms at CBR...

I think the seats will move forward a bit so that you will be surrounded by the screen...also underneath you... (at least that's also what I hope)

Yeah, this is probably the alignment grid they projected on the mountains to get a mask template.This way they get an idea of where the projection hits the mountain, what the contrast and colour balance will be etc... then they take this data to start on making the actual projection graphics.

Created by a dutch Animator in his spare time... Disney, take notice and give this man a budget. Now I really want an animated show of this.
