Speculate all you want. Nobody has been accurate in this thread anyway.

Hurricane Ian expected to impact Florida (updates and related discussions)

Those who didn't go through Katrina should not speak about Katrina. Ian is not the same as the circumstances surrounding Katrina. Not one iota.

The more cancellations, the better. Looking to (paid)upgrade from Port Orleans to some MK deluxe resort. Fingers crossed.

News 'Swirls on the Water' brings new alcoholic Dole Whips to Walt Disney World

My two daughters and I shared the sea salt caramel bubble waffle at Aristocrepes last year. I hate to see this place has changed since I have told my Disney loving friends to grab a snack from here. Hopefully the bubble waffle pops up somewhere else in the World. If not - how can I get my...

New look for Cookes of Dublin Famous Fish and Chips at Disney Springs

I found Raglan Road to not be as great as some would suggest. 🤷🏼‍♂️. I know this article is about Cooke’s - I probably should’ve stuck with the fish and chips.

    old magic bands

You may want to stop by the front desk and make sure your park passes are “activated”. We used our Feb 2020 Magic Bands for our Sep 2021 trip and we weren’t allowed into the park after being assured it will work the same way as described above (park passes weren’t “activated” as we were told...

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

I’ll need to pay for a park hopper to hop to a park after 2pm in order for me to pay more to ride a few rides that used to be included in park admission (after I used my first three fast passes) Done. There is so much more to explore in the USA than some oven in Central FL - and it probably...

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

Ok, it’s settled - I’m done. The trip we are taking the week of Labor Day feels way more expensive than what it’s worth. Our theoretical next trip will totally not be worth the money, in my opinion - at least not for my family of five (4 “adults” and 1 child).

Let's have a bit of a laugh. What restaurant do you secretly enjoy that everyone else thinks you're nuts for?

I don’t know if this restaurant is jeered by the Disney foodies - but we had a great experience at 1900 Park Faire at the Grand Floridian. I was surprised at how good the food was at the buffet. We liked it enough to go twice on that trip. We have gotten out of pre-planning our meals and are...

What would it take for you to NOT go back?

For me - it’s nothing to do with Disney as a whole (other than price increases, but that’s a given every year). For me, it’s when all my kids (3 total, family of 5) become “adult” age. That is when it becomes unaffordable for me.

Cases, cases, cases…………….curious, are deaths up? (Serious question)

The dreaded family of 5 at Disney

Considering the “perks” of staying onsite are non-existent (currently) - I would argue that the best option would be a suite at any of the adjacent properties. I know people will argue that parking at the parks will cost you - but parking at the Disney hotels now comes with a price - so it’s...

You went to WDW and you ate WHAT?

I went to WDW in Late Feb and I ate Vegetable Tikka Masala from Yak and Yeti Local Foods Cafe. Odd choice for me considering I’m no vegetarian - but it was delicious! Honestly, if I saw shoe leather Tikka Masala, I would probably order it.

    Memory Maker

We get memory maker on our trips. The cameras they use are often better than my iPhone6 because I don’t rush out to get the latest greatest. I also like the fact that I can watch my kids laugh and have fun interacting with the characters using my own two eyes instead of watching it through a...

    Garden Grill or Coral Reef

Funny you said "snarky staff" - I thought I was the only one who may have had that encounter. In a nutshell, my 5 year old asked me what a certain item was on the kid's menu - I told her it was spaghetti. The server looked at me and said "sir, actually, its a bolognese". I could hear how...
