Whats your favourite restaurant in WDW?

I never miss going to the Prime Time Cafe. I'll eat about anything but I just love the theme there. My teenage daughter thinks the servers "are nuts". She doesn't realize they're "acting". LOL My husband and I also love Yachtman's Steakhouse!

    Your first Disney memory

What happened to the witch? My first visit was in 1976 when I was 6 years old. I remember 2 things very well. One was that we stayed at the Contemporary in the wings and we could see the fireworks from our room. The other is when we went to the Haunted Mansion and on the lawn in front was the...

Contemporary DVC is coming - demo starts Oct 1st

Um...that doesn't seem possible. In that artist's drawing did anyone else notice the monorail?? Crossing the contemporary building and then going crooked to the new building....and then, it doesn't even come out, so what, it backs up???? I don't get it. That doesn't seem possible.

    Famous Stars/Celebrities at the Parks

Well not at Disney, but..... When Disney Cruise just started I went on an agent fam trip and when we got to Castaway Cay, Denise Austin was taping one of her shows there. I have always wondered how she and crew got there since she wasn't on our ship and she stayed after we left. p.s. For...

What if I just walk up....

....to a desk at one of the resorts and try to get a room? Would I get any kind of a deal or would I have to pay full rack rate? I may be in Orlando in October and I thought it might be cool to "take a wrong turn" and spend a night at Disney. I love surprising my kids like that. So what do you...

    Flying Dutchman at Castaway Cay?

Is it permanant? I was wondering how long it will be there. Is it a permanant thing or only for a certain time? Anyone know? We won't be doing a Disney Cruise until 2008 and I don't want to tell my kids about it if we'll miss it.

    Worst Disney ride experience.

I NEVER go on SMALL WORLD anymore When I was 6 (1976), we went on IASW. Well, it got stuck. I mean, we were in a boat and it just stopped. Now what I mean is, the boats stopped, NOT the music!!! For an hour!!! It drove me nuts....and mind you, I was only 6. Well, I haven't been on that right...

    Room Assignors?

Is the same true for DVC? Is that the same reservation center? Do I make my requests with DVC or do I then need to call the main res number? Thanks!

    Price of Dining Plan?

Does anyone know how much the dining plan costs if I just purchase it alone? I'm debating between using DVC points and purchasing the dining plan, or going when they offer the free dining. Thanks!

    Using another family members points

it's very easy My Dad is a DVC member so we use his points all the time. He bought way more than he could ever use so that all his grandkids could go. Your "aunt" would have to make the reservation and really that's it. My dad usually sends us the confirmation when he gets it but I've checked...

Can I pay for a night?

The point values for a Fri/Sat night are killing me. Can I use points for weeknights and then just pay for the room for a Fri or Sat? I'm asking because I want to use points to stay at the Polynesian, but 50 some points for a weekend is crazy!!!

    Build your Own Disney Hotel

Gotta have the swim-in pool I don't know what kind I've theme I would do, but I would DEFINATELY have one of those pools that you can get into right from your room patio. I guess it would go with a Finding Nemo type theme.

I want that room at the Polynesian....

.....that they show in a lot of pictures. The one with the couple on the balcony and monorail is running right by the room. Anyone know what room that is by chance?
