    Waves of Disney Obsessiveness

Yes! It absolutely comes in waves! So much so, that we booked a trip for May because the annual December trip had too much of a gap XD But I agree with @officialtom, its more the experience. Booking our flights, picking our resort, planning our days (ADR, FP+, etc). Disney itself, is just one...

    wrist bands

So we can't use our previous set of magic bands from December for our upcoming May trip? Hm, seems like a waste of resources and postage.

    Things that make you cry

Oh and I just thought of another one! Last September, our first trip during the fall season, we went directly to MK after landing and got there right when the CADCT parade started. It was a mix of first time seeing the fall decorations and the parade music with all the characters and happy...

    Things that make you cry

Oh man, so much makes me happy cry at wdw haha 1. Wishes (esp the BatB instrumental segment) 2. Illuminations opening segment about gathering around the fire 3. Leaving the MK as that song after Wishes is playing. 4. Entering AKL for the first time that trip. 5. Seeing the castle all lit...

    New Mug Design

I will forever miss the resort specific mugs (only got to experience them once during my very first trip at POFQ when you had the choice of fat or skinny lol). Anyway, I do love that the resort mugs have to do with checking in a resort! At least its theme specific lol Sad there's no green though.

Animal Kingdom-- How long do you stay?

We spend 1.5 days at AK :) It's usual designated full day and the day we leave for the airport. Once on the safari, dinosaur, Everest and FOTLK is just not enough for us. Sure they have the least things to do, but what they have is also the highest in repeatability imo.

How can people justify going often?

We've been going every year since 2001 and just recently started going twice a year! Sometimes we just fly down for a weekend, stay at our favorite resort, go to the parks for a few hours and just enjoy the atmosphere. I don't think I could ever get tired of that "happy" feeling Disney gives me...

Magic hours worth it or not?

Never did the AM, but we plan our trip around PM! There's something so special about riding BTMR at 2:30am and strolling over to PotC before close :)

    First Time in 1 Day?

We go every year used to be able to get everything we wanted done in 1 day, but caved a few years ago and now give 2 days to Uni. We are not HP fans nor do we ride the roller coasters in IOA, but we still need the extra day.

    Dtunes

I'm just hearing of Dtunes now and I'm so sad I missed it!! I've been listening to Live365 this whole time and never knew something better existed. For those asking, these are my Disney presents... They all play background music, ride themes, resort music, parades, fireworks, shows, DME...

    Frozen ride replacing Maelstrom?

    Coronado Springs or Port Orleans

Stayed at both and would choose POFQ every time. We love the size, the little "streets" leading to all the buildings, the beauty of the river being so close. The pool area is perfect and so calming to walk past after coming back from a hectic park. The convenience of the food court being so...

great video of Joe Rohde and Jon Landau at DAK

(Semi off topic question here, sorry) All this Joe Rohde discussion got me thinking.... How much input did he have in the development of Animal Kingdom Lodge?

    FP+ tips and tricks

If you miss your time frame, are you able to schedule a new attraction from the kiosks or is that FP+ gone forever? Which one is true? Lol

Poll: Best Shooting Attraction in Orlando

MIB! Being able to experience the exact same ride concept at home takes away the special/uniqueness of real life sets.

    Confess your Disney Sins!!!!

Hate Epcot. Only spend a half day there and if it wasn't for Illuminations, might skip it altogether. Also don't care for Splash Mountain. the smell alone makes me gag.
