News Disneyland modifies mask policy - UPDATE 7/28/21

That's right when we'll probably be coming out of the upcoming wave. In other words, not soon enough. The opening of schools this year, may very well look like the opening last year. Which is to say, there were a lot of non-openings.

It depends upon how bad it gets. I truly believe that August is going to be a bloodbath in FL. That said, I am not sure Disney would shut down Disney World. And the Governor there is 100% Absolutely not going to shut anything down. The #'s are not as bad in CA, but that can change on a dime...

If it doesn't have a vent, go for it. I'm going to have to switch back from my N95's with vents to my N95's without them.

Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort

This may turn out to be the safest Halloween event, since much of it takes place outdoors. Knott's & Universal are almost entirely indoors.

News Disneyland modifies mask policy - UPDATE 7/28/21

There will be a # of Under 12 year olds who die, and they're unable to get vaccinated yet. Regardless of how low that percentage is, they are still human lives that will be lost, through no fault of their own. More blood on the hands of the irresponsible, not that it will matter to them.

A helpful PSA. Ignore is your friend, and will help you retain some level of sanity during your stay on this thread. Which sadly, at this point, may be awhile. If you think that you will be able to explain the Covid issue, something that countless Dr.'s & Scientists have not been to do for...

News Disneyland modifies mask policy - UPDATE 7/28/21

They have an answer for everything. Since we are at the point where HUMAN LIFE has become political, I'm glad to say that I'm on the side of HUMAN LIFE rather than endless death. The last 17 months have truly made me realize the depravity of a large part of the country. I always kind of knew...

California's Covid #'s are bad, but Florida's #'s are unbelievable. They're projected to have 80,000 New Cases/Day in the next 2 weeks. The death toll is going to be staggering in August and on into September. I'm not sure Disney realizes what's about to hit them in Florida.

Google, Facebook, Netflix, Lyft, among others, instituted a vaccination requirement today for employees. I can't imagine more companies, including Disney, won't follow.

If you need to make a decision in the next 2-3 weeks, and you are hoping for an improvement over that period, I unfortunately see literally zero chance of that happening. We're in the upward part of the curve, and will be there for several weeks at least.

Time's running out on my prediction that Disney is going to bring masks back indoors before the end of July. I still think it's going to happen sooner rather than later, but maybe it won't be until next week?

The nationwide #'s are rising. There was someone on CNN last night who said this wave will probably continue for another 12 weeks. I still could see the country averaging 200,000 cases/day and 2,000 deaths/day. In fact, that might be too low a prediction.

I completely agree. You explain it very well. I don't think that places like Disneyland will be shut again. I'm not even sure how much the parks are going to limit capacity over the remaining summer weeks. Everyone is getting geeked for the Halloween stuff, and I'm beginning to wonder...
