Interesting, bc I feel the exact opposite! Moana and Zootopia are not perfect IP for Animal Kingdom- but I felt that concept art did seem like it could fit in nicely with Animal Kingdom. I do NOT feel that way about the concept art and MK. But all good bc neither are happening!
I think Disney was trying to go after a more modern/luxurious vibe compared to their other ships and they definitely achieved that. Is it perfect? No. But it's a definite step up from the other 4 ships in terms of market they are trying to reach.
Interesting. How do they fix this? Obviously, everyone would want to get their money's worth and arrive to be first on. Mandated boarding and departure times?
But should it need to be avoided? If a group wants to stay together to ride a ride, they aren't split up. Why is this any different? if my 8 year old doesn't want to ride Smuggler's Run and we do a rider switch, will they be excluded as well? I think this is a flaw in the system.
Just came here to write this comment. I was skeptical, then won over by the videos, but THIS story makes me skeptical again. If I go with a group of people for this experience, I'd like to stick with these people bc at the end of the day this is not real Star Wars, but a vacation! I go on...
My biggest take away is how amazing the food and meals looks, which only leads me to the conclusion that Galaxy's Edge could have had the hottest, most crowded, insane table service restaurant on property. And it disappoints me, because I can't justify paying 6 grand for just FOOD!
Have you ever been to a 5 star all inclusive resort? People aren't "wedding night drunk" but for 6 grand for 2 days, it'd nice to not have to pull out the credit card if you want a cocktail with your dinner.
