I am really surprised at Royal Caribbean Line......rotted life vests???

"Inspections" happen every week by crew members, but honestly not all life vests are routinely moved and inspected, since a lot of cruislines no longer require guest to don them for muster drill. A coast guard inspection will happen periodically, and at random, but even then your talking a...

    Castaway Cay changing facilities

Castaway Cay, being a private island is really safe, so thefts are very minimal, but for valuables such as cameras and electronics i've used one of these in the past.. wraps around your chair or umbrella. Use it at the Water parks, beach and on cruises...

I am really surprised at Royal Caribbean Line......rotted life vests???

So, I used to work on a cruise ship, and in my experience if CBP, Coast Guard or USDH came on board and flagged something, you are held up for a few hours at a minimum, if you have a late departure time, that could mean not leaving port that day... It was a huge deal that the ships are VERY...

Sailing Carnival (crying on the inside)

Their gameshows tend to be a lot of fun, their events can be very enjoyable. In my experience there shows are lackluster.. but you an drink a lot, gamble a little and enjoy the people and places your going. Carnival is still a lot of fun.

I just moved out of state in September and changed my license in october, I visited in December over the christmas holiday and had no issues (I renewed my pass in May) I assume it will continue to work till May, but i'm assuming renewing it isn't going to happen, luckily my brother is a cast member.

    Carry on bags query

I know disney has pretty tight security check, so i think the bag size and number of bags is limited in order to allow them to pass through the X-ray machines at the port... last time I sailed Disney I carried on a backpack and a large sidebag.

    Artegon Marketplace closing 1/26

It's been a struggling property every since it's inception as Festival Bay years ago... it had HUGE potential, and indoor skatepark, massive stores and for a while Ron Jon planned on building a surf park... but something never clicked. My opinion was mismanagement and too high of rent, but i...

    Two questions about Nassau

If you do go exploring i recommend heading down by Twin brothers or Eddie's fish fry to the West... Awesome local seafood, straight off the boat, tons of fresh conch, and CHEAP! I used to love eating there!

    Onboard Activities

The Adult drink classes have sign ups on the first day of your cruise. I think they're fantastic, check out the mixology and tequila classes, they are wonderful fun and surprisingly educational, plus they do not skimp on the alcohol. Character experiences are first come first serve, you'll...

buy a passport yes or no 4 days Bahama cruise

If you're in good health, and don't mind the "slight" risk of needing to fly home from one of your ports of call, I'd feel comfortable saying yu don't need a passport. Don't get stuck in Nassau, don't wreck a moped and don't end up in a Bahamian hospital and a birth certificate will serve you...

Stateroom location Disney Magic - time sensitive

If your located above any major foot traffic you should be fine, unless its the walt disney theatre, you generally only will hear noise from above you. The Nursery won't cause you any sound issues, and if it's guest laundry below you, that shouldn't be an issue either. Try to aim more midship...

    Golfing at the World

Renting, or bringing your own clubs is really personal preference. I for one HATE playing with other peoples clubs. Either way though your sure to have a great time, WDW's courses are very nice, challenging and quality. If you can pack your clubs without too much hassle i say it's worth it.

    Parking?

You're paying for convenience... the parking garage at port canaveral is incredibly convenient and easily one of the easiest ports in Florida... but it is pricey, highly recommended, but expensive. Going out on a limb here, you're on a Disney Cruise, don't be cheap and enjoy yourself!

    New Beast Costume

Going out on a limb here, but i'm assuming this new beast probably ties in more comfortably with the upcoming live action movie as well... it's probably a happy medium between the original and the remake... also this new beast looks a lot like some of the concept art for the movie, more baboon...

    Great movie ride question

Hey guys, Quick question to resolve a family dispute. Since the TCM partnership the end video clip has been updated, but I swear I've ridden it since that update and never noticed a guardians of the galaxy snippet. Was this clip added with the initial refurbishment or added at a later date?

Went to Citricos for the first time during our last trip

Haven't stopped in there in years, but my last trip was exceptional! Disney's higher end restaurants in the resorts are some of the best dining orlando has to offer!
