This is what I was going to suggest, if it is possible. Also, memories of the trip with you and his dad may be getting in his way. And...he may just think that is all he is getting for Christmas and October is light years away. How on earth has he guessed a trip that far away?

Are there still honeymoon registrations sites? IF there are then ask in advance for things like a dinner at V&A, para sailing at the contemporary, carriage rides, massages,

golf carts are nice but not a necessity. If you decide you want one after a day or two there may not be any left to rent however. Better to error on the side of caution and get one for a day or two just to make things easier until you know the lay of the campground. We always rent one.

Those final pictures made me miss WDW even more if that is possible! I was gutted about not going this year, I swear it will not happen to me again. I have grandkids to take now, so I can see it thru their bright eyes. I ask my two year old grandson all the time if he wants his nonna to take him...

DH has promised me a deposit on our October trip after the first of the year, so I am trying to be patient. He is just as upset as I was this year when for the first time in years we did not go to WDW in the fall, or at all. He likes to tell everyone we go every year because I love it so much...

While I agree the old system did allow for a charity donation I will also agree that no one is forced to make a FP they don't want or can't use. Why do it if you know you won't use them?

We never go to MK on a party day until the 4 PM mark. We spend the first part of a party day at the resort, shopping, relaxing, eating. We always eat a good meal before going to the party, then we can spend the evening enjoying the rides and such without feeling terribly hungry.
