Quick Service Dining Plan - Is it worth it?

I know its a silly qualm but I wish the refillable mugs were optional. An extra "value" of almost $80 for 4 mugs that we will barely use is, to us, more wasteful than the excess of food. We would definitely eat differently - shared meals, fewer desserts - if paying out of pocket, but we've...

Quick Service Dining Plan - Is it worth it?

We are still in the very very early stages of planning an early November trip. At that time, our kids will be 6, 4.5 and (gulp) 6 months old. The past two times we've gone, we have gotten the Regular DDP. While really nice, it didn't fit our family perfectly - it was A LOT of food & it took...

Most bizarre things WDW has ever done.

In the Wonders of Life pavilion there was a movie type attraction where Martin Short described the whole "make a baby scenario" Endearing - maybe. Bizarre - understatement. Nothing more awkward than an early 90s tween version of yourself sitting next to your parents while on summer vacation...

    Everything Pop Breakfast Recommendations

depending on your capabilities and where your room is at POP, you could easily walk over to AoA for food options. The walk over the bridge is really quite pleasant.

The BIG taboo.... Breastfeeding (and ISO other infant tips)

When we go, they will be 6 years old and 4 1/2 years old. They've both been twice when they were 3 & 1 1/2 and the 4 1/2 and 3, but this would (hopefully) be the first year that they both will be able to do most the bigger rides and go strong without naps and strollers.

The BIG taboo.... Breastfeeding (and ISO other infant tips)

Thanks , I'm not as worried about the hubby being in the care stations, as he will be busy corralling the 2 bigger ones :p I have read and had some experience that it's recommended that dads take the frontline on diaper duty though. The changing stations in the men's rooms are a lot less...

The BIG taboo.... Breastfeeding (and ISO other infant tips)

Hello all. I am due with baby # 3 in April. We are in the early stages of planning our next WDW trip for either late fall or early winter. That will bring baby #3 to about 6-7 months old. I will hopefully, if all goes well, still be exclusively breastfeeding at that point. I have never been...

Stroller Game Changer!! A Must Watch!!!

As per a review website: "Price: $229 (subject to change) Weighs just 9 lbs and holds children from 6 months to 55 lbs. The fabric is removable and washable. The underseat basket is spacious. You can lock the front swivel wheels." $229 is actually pretty reasonable in the stroller world...

    LETS FIX WDW

I'm surprised no one brought up the monorails. Upgrading and expanding them would be a biggie. Also... something that hasn't been mentioned, build an adult exclusive posh resort. And because its a personal favorite, open up the top floor of the imagination pavilion PLEASE.

Stroller Game Changer!! A Must Watch!!!

Saw this on a mommy Facebook page and instantly thought, " I NEED this for our next trip for Disney!!!" Ahhh, for the airport, the bus ride back to the resort after a long night, no need to park it in a sea of other strollers. This could be a definite game changer for us!!

Disneyworld trip with a broken foot - do it or cancel the vaca?

If you decide to go (I would) consider either renting or buying a "knee walker" I work in an orthopedic office and every patient that uses these things absolutely love them. So much better to get around with than a wheelchair or especially crutches. She can sit on it when necessary for a...

    Gastons retiring pork shanks

That's what I figured... I just had an AHA moment where I knew I had seen this talked about before and thought it was worth mentioning. Also... getting rid of the shank would make NO sense from a theming standpoint. Gaston, the manliest hunter of them all serving hummus and cinnamon rolls...

Guest banned from WDW for meth lab joke.

I want to know where the vertical You Tube videos are from this guy's next door neighbors that night? I sure all this hoopla with the cops took AT LEAST an hour. maybe more. He obviously didn't going quietly into the night. I don't feel bad for the CM, not the guy or his family. But it...
