Has anyone whose pass expired during the closure had extensions yet? I'm expecting 49 days to be added, although I appreciate they're probably dealing with these in batches and it must be a huge task!

We're doing the same. Two phones at the ready, plus GET as a backup. We're rope dropping on Sunset Blvd abd heading straight to the GET kiosk by TOT. We were told last night that the further away you get from the lake the better the data is, but who knows at this point? I figure it's about 90%...

A cast member just told me that the best 'trick' is to be in a line for a guest experience team podium prior to park opening, while also trying to get a boarding pass on the app. Apparently the guest experience team have some flexibility over 'assisting' with boarding groups. Can anyone vouch...

Thanks! Yeah, we were feeling pessimistic but there were a few good hours this afternoon when we got a boost of hope. We have tomorrow and then we fly home (literally just a weekend trip for both of our birthdays). I agree with others here that there's no ideal way to do this but it still sucks!

Just had a notification that we won't be boarding today. They called up to 67 and our group was 73. Flew in especially from the UK and made it to rope drop on two hours sleep. Hoping for better luck tomorrow.

Do we know if the number of guests per boarding group has changed in this time, or is it simply the reliability of the attraction being completely inconsistent?

At opening time there's an announcement/advertisement for the boarding group process, which runs for roughly 20 seconds. After that's played out the button becomes available on the app.

The very second the option to join a boarding group came up, which was roughly 20 seconds after 8
