We go outside and take walks on the trail. We also were going places (farms, berry picking, gardens) before masks were dropped. my husband works at Disney and still wears 2 masks, a shield, and showers when he gets home. But you are 100% right he could still bring it home 😞

Thank you. What a kind answer. Although there was a child who died in his sleep recently after his second shot due to heart inflammation it caused… that’s where that fear came from. I know the vaccine is the answer. I just need to do it.

There is no wow factor here. I don’t contribute to the spread or mutations because I don’t go out. We get groceries delivered. I’m still doing my part. We don’t see family or friends… my choices have consequences. I’ll get the vaccine eventually… I’m not anti vaxx but definitely need to work...

You can ask! I’m an open book. The answer is simple- I’m fearful if I vaxx and I’m fearful if I don’t. I’ve done a lot of research on the vaccine and watched a lot of webinars by doctors who say that the vaccine can cause <insert applicable things>. These are not anti vaxx doctors (in fact both...

Well… I guess not probably. We only hear of the UK or Ireland or something I can’t actually remember everything but I do know that China is beginning to take precautions again because I work with families in China. And I guess locking down would be extreme but I would say that most countries are...

I guess my point is…Taking into consideration most of the countries are locking down again or reinstating masks social distancing etc.… Is the United States just gonna let it spread? With no mitigation efforts at all? Is that what it’s come to that I can’t take my kids out because I don’t want...

I think a QR code would be equivalent to a passport here which are banned unfortunately.

I mean a covid test before entering the park could work… but heck that would take a long time 😳

How do you mean? I think the simplest thing is to require masks for everyone again. I agree it would be suicide for such a big business, I’m just saying since vaccine passports are banned… if this gets out of control (and with a positivity of 11.7% we are almost there) they will have to do...

When I say I HATE living in Florida…DeSantis has said he’ll never shut things down again… it’s so frustrating living in a state where I feel like half of the people out there don’t care whether my kids (too young to vaxx) live or die. It’s so simple to put a piece of cloth over your face. So...

Oh I know. I mean that disney will have to require masks indoors for all, not just some.

Yeah but they are a private owned business. So, they could find ways around it. For instance, if you show your vaccine card you get a discount! If you don’t show your vaccine card your ticket is $999. A small concert venue did that here in Florida a month or two ago after the ban.

I love it. And agree- but if they were successful about vaccine passports, what would happen in states like Florida where DeSantis banned them? Can they ‘override’ him?

What does it achieve? You must be new here. Once they dropped masks, covid cases began to increase sharply. I believe that the cdc will reinstate masks indoors guidelines soon. Disney will probably follow suit 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t know if this has been discussed yet, but with delta being such a concern (even kids are ending up in the ICU) are we thinking disney will mandate masks indoors again? I’m really hoping they do.

For the first Covid that came out absolutely I think that these efforts would be really good but we don’t know the extent of Delta or even Alpha in regards to transmission. It just worries me because the warehouse he works in is not well ventilated so it’s just possible for him to run into...

Actually he does not work with gusts. He’s behind the scenes but he does work in close proximity to other cast members but he’s been maintaining 6 feet of distance.

This is all easy to say until your child or your loved one becomes a statistic. That’s all I’m gonna say you don’t know me you don’t know my situation and you don’t know any of my children’s underlying conditions.

This. THIS is why my husband and I are so upset that disney lifted all guest/cast member masking policies. My husband still wears 2 masks and goggles but now is much more likely to bring it home to our kids!
