    Very Ashamed...

I had a Dole Whip on our trip last month. It was my first in my all my 8 visits since 1985. I didn't like it at all and it actually made me feel quite ill for the rest of the day. I'll try a Citrus Swirl when I go back next year...maybe those are more my speed.

Trip Report Our first Disney trip (hopefully of many!) together

Yes, Pirates was open. I didn't get wet on it, but then again I sat in the last row. Maybe people in the rows near the front get wet now?

    Crowded parks?

We were there Sept. 30 - Oct. 6 and it did seem quite crowded. Granted, I've only been there at this time once before, but I was surprised because I've always read about how September and the beginning of October are the "less crowded" times. I know Epcot was crazy because of F&WF, but AK and MK...

Trip Report Our first Disney trip (hopefully of many!) together

My husband and I just got back two weeks ago from WDW and had a great trip! It was DH's first time at a Disney park and I was sort of nervous about how he would like it, but I think he enjoyed himself. Anyway, this isn't really a trip report, but more of a list of some notable things that...

Via Napoli - never been and need some outside perspectives

My husband and I dined there a couple of weeks ago and thought it was great. We just got the pepperoni pizza and the salad. Pizza was just how we like it: thin crust, not a ton of cheese...it was very crowded but the service was quick and our server was wonderful. I got the strawberry aqua...

    Attraction ideas?

I remember someone here on the forum mentioning how cool it would be to have a Bedknobs and Broomsticks dark ride. Ever since then, I keep thinking about that.

    I remember ....................

I remember when the parking lot trams had that groovy brown/orange color scheme.

    Farthest Out you've started planning

The furthest I've started planning out is...now! I just got back yesterday but booked a FD bounce back for 9/18 - 9/25 at POR before we left. Usually the furthest I've planned out has been 6 months...the next 347 days will be tough but it will be fun to plan.

    Alamo/name on credit card

We're leaving in three days and I'm getting all my Donald ducks in a row (lame joke, I know)...I rented a car from Alamo and did the online check-in/skip the counter option. I have all my confirmations printed up and ready to go, but I just can't shake my paranoia and OCD when it comes to...

If you had 15 Minutes to talk to Walt Disney, what would you ask or talk about?

I'd ask him advice on how to be a good storyteller. As an artist/writer, I'm constantly trying to come up with brave new ideas. Mine somehow always fall flat (or are pushed aside because life gets in the way). Since he was such a great storyteller, I think he'd give great advice.

    The mess that's around DTD

We're driving from MCO to POFQ on a Wednesday afternoon. It's my first time driving to WDW and I'm a little concerned because I've heard that the traffic around DTD and Buena Vista Drive is pretty nasty. Are there any other routes that would be better?

Yes! Haunted Mansion, Spaceship Earth, and Pirates of the Caribbean.
